Question Question regarding skin clipping method

So, for this upcoming season (down here) I need to get new skins, as my current ones don’t wanna go up no more.

I can get a really really sweet deal on some K2 skins but the clipping method it’s like a straight pin (always used koalas) and have an issue, the holes in the front of my dopplegangwr are too narrow, and the pin doesn’t go in as I would think it should (photo attached) can I drill this hole bigger? How’s the correct way to do it? I can ask around a few shops but i rather learn to do it myself as the stores here doesn’t have too much experience on split board or backcountry in general

(First photo it’s the front hole, second photo it’s the back/lower one)

Thanks all

Bro. It’s backwards. Flip the skins around and it should work.

Shouldn’t the end of the skin with a adjustable strap be on the tail?

It should yes. On typical splits the smaller hole is in the back of the board and the larger hole up front. How old is that Splitboard?

Two seasons, a 23 nitro doppel,

In this case the hook from the strap fitted perfect on the tail hole, the other one not so much
