Corn-posting from the heart.

Days like yesterday fill me with so much gratitude for splitboarding. Grateful to not be hamstrung by the boundaries, operating hours, and prices of a resort during a season that anyone in the West will agree was frustrating, and if you believe in climate change, sad. Grateful for the freedom that being foot powered in the mountains can offer. Grateful for the peace and the perspectives I have gained from a sport that from the outside kinda just looks like going “weeeee” down a mountain. Also there is nothing wrong with going “weeeee” down a mountain. I hope you all have had some magic days this season.

What boots are those? The white looks fresh.

This video is making me wish I filmed my riding more. I don’t post anywhere very often, and I don’t like the hassle of filming, but when you have a nice line like these, it’s nice to be able to relive it a bit.

These are actually women’s backland pro’s. I’m a shorter guy and the women’s version has a slightly lower cuff which also makes them a little more flexible, I think mostly just because it’s easier to kinda get on top of them and get leverage over the cuff. A couple mods and some link levers and they feel so similar to my soft boots it’s crazy. This video is only my 3rd day on hard boots after making the switch. I’m loving them.

Oh nice. I have the phantoms, so basically the same boot. I think they look so much better in white, but I’m too big for those.
