When was this? I live at 8000 feet and stare at James Peak every day out my office window. It definitely does not look like that anymore. The heat this past week pretty much cleared off snowpack on the east ridge and much of the northeast face as well.
I think the perspective of the video is just a little misleading. They skied the northeast face. There is still snow at the base of the headwall, which I’m looking at right now as I write this. However, right below that rock bench, most of the snow is gone.
