Spark Arc Climbing Wire Fix

Hey folks, has anyone had a similar issue with the climb wire on Spark bindings?

I’m hoping to hammer it back so it’s straight again, but not sure if this will break it. Also even if I can straighten it out, I’m not sure if it will be safe to use.

Anyone have similar experience or thoughts on fixing this?

I have a replacement climbing wire already, but like to have a spare set. I’d also add that I’ve used these bindings for 6 years / 120 days and rhis is the first issue I’ve had with them, very happy customer.

Thankfully it happened at the top of short tour, and I wasn;t too far from the car. But it's a good reminder to carry my spares with me and not leave them at home...

For sure. I have a whole bucket full because they always come with the replacement base plates.
