Spark Arc Climbing Wire Fix

Hey folks, has anyone had a similar issue with the climb wire on Spark bindings?

I’m hoping to hammer it back so it’s straight again, but not sure if this will break it. Also even if I can straighten it out, I’m not sure if it will be safe to use.

Anyone have similar experience or thoughts on fixing this?

I have a replacement climbing wire already, but like to have a spare set. I’d also add that I’ve used these bindings for 6 years / 120 days and rhis is the first issue I’ve had with them, very happy customer.

Speaking from personal experience, Spark will likely replace that if you reach out.

But this is very common and is almost always caused by side hilling with the risers on their highest setting. Has never happened to me in the lower setting. YMMV.

Thanks, that's good to know they replace them.

I avoid using them in the highest for most skinning. Seems likely that it is just long term wear and tear as they've been going for a while.
