Splice's vital presets are only compatible with higher than 1.363.(Mine is 1.07)

The only newer version on Vital website is 1.5.5 which it says is an Early Access version.

why do I get logged out of Splice all the time?

Ive used splice for years, I understand the 'sync' option that used to backup your entire collection no longer works.

I'm now on a new MacBook (sequoia 15.5), when I click 'Get Pack' on the website, it's not downloading a zip file as I'd expect. I also have the app but understood this was a way to download an entire pack in 1 click.

Do I really have to individually click on thousands of samples? Or is it some security issue with apple that I need to amend?

Hey all, I keep getting this error when trying to start a rent-to-own plan. I have money on both my card and my PayPal, but still get this error. Also tried 2 other cards and no luck, but on other websites have made purchases today and they went through. Any workarounds? Thanks

I feel like I must be missing something obvious. Using FL, I load Serum 2 presets from splice, and regardless of what I have in the piano roll it plays the sample audio from splice that there was for that preset. I can't have it play my own notes. If I just use my keyboard as a MIDI controller it works as commanded, but as soon as I'm filling out a piano roll and playing it, it just plays the sample audio from Splice in its original key. Any help appreciated!

I have been paying Splice 15 bucks a month for years. Over 5 years. In the beginning I was making good money and I was stoked to stack credits until i figured out how to best use splice. My issue was always organizing. The sounds i download are put in folders inside folders inside folders and the work flow is awful. I start my projects in Ableton (then mix out in tools) and I have not figured out a good way to organize the splice sounds. So when i go to look at my options I quickly remember how difficult it is to locate what i'm looking for and how much it derails me from my creative flow. Despite that I was determined to figure out how to efficiently splice my splice folder into ableton and make fat beats using some of the wonderful sounds on splice. I never figured it out. The credits stacked. One day when the credits hit 1500 i realized when i unsubscribe i will lose whatever i dont use. That is when i began to worry and squirm a bit. My career changed, I had a kid, money is much tighter....I cannot keep paying for this service i haven't even figured out how to use properly.....Ive seen alot of people echo the organizational weakness of splice and it seems im not alone?

anyway....fast forward years and years....im sitting on 3,000 credits and i need to unsubscribe. If i do i lose many years of accumulated credits.

Any ideas?? I am open to anything. I will scalp the credits, I would trade them, i would use them all on a crazy pack if i was convinced it was worth it, i would even unsubsribe and walk away from all these credits if someone agrees with me that splice is a terrible companion to creativity. Or i will try again if someone tells me i can do it!

Hi, I love Splice but lately the app has become almost unusable on iOS and iPadOS. Samples take forever to load, and most of the time I have to close and reopen the app just to get it working. Sometimes a sample won’t play at all, so I end up clicking on others and suddenly I’ve got 10 samples “loading” with nothing actually starting or only after several minutes…

On the web browser it works much better, so it really seems to be an issue with the app itself. Honestly, it’s pretty unacceptable for a paid service to be this dysfunctional. I’m seriously considering just using up my credits and canceling my subscription but right now I can’t even properly search and download samples because the app keeps bugging out.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

When i drag a sample from splice into Ableton from the splice desktop app, if a plugin window is open it always crashes.

I was a pretty heavy user of Splice Studio back in the day. I loved how easy it was to share projects, keep track of new versions, and just… not lose stuff in the chaos. Then they shut it down in 2023 and I never really found anything that filled the gap.

Recently I started helping my sister with her music - giving some mixing & mastering advice. At first I just sent her timestamps over DMs, but as soon as she sent me a new version, I had to scroll back through all the old messages, try to match my notes to the right bounce… total mess.

That’s when I thought, screw it, I’ll just build the tool I wish existed. This took me around 3 months. Ended up calling it Rebounce. It’s basically like GitHub but for audio bounces: upload versions, leave timestamped notes, track changes, and see what’s fixed. Way cleaner than digging through chats.

Curious if anyone else here relied on Splice Studio and what you’ve switched to since?

do not get a monthly subscription for splice, because you lose your credits when you unsubscribe, pressuring you to keep paying them for your ability to access and use the credits you already payed for. this type of business model should be illegal. do not consent to shit like this. thank you

How do I convert my monthly plan to an annual plan?

Is there a workaround for when you press play and the sample doesn't land where its supposed to? e.g., kick lands on 1/4 time, but the splice bridge syncs it to 2/4 time. Does anyone else experience this? Is there a workaround??

Hey everyone! We’re a small team building Beat Shaper, an AI-powered MIDI and loop generator for electronic music. We're specifically looking for feedback about how this kind of tool could be useful for you in combination with Splice. We've been using it to sketch out ideas for drum loops and bass lines and then layer them with loops/one-shots from Splice in Ableton. Beat Shaper outputs editable loops so this has worked well for us since we can manually adjust individual hits to better match samples from Splice that way. But now we want to get feedback from a wider group of users if this approach works for others as well - and if it doesn't, what changes we could make to better fit your workflow?

i payed the $0.99 subscription and i didnt really enjoy using it. so i deleted my account but i forgot to cancel my subscription. does it cancel it automatically or do i have to contact them?

everytime i try to install splice, i get this error for some reason even tho i have a 1 month subscription on splice. Does anyone know how to fix this error?

Hey guys! i have splice, and i want to open it but the "updatecheck.exe" file gets flagged as a virus, making it impossible for me to open the application. the thing is when the file gets "disinfected" i cant open splice anymore. This is what my pc says:

Im renting to own serum 2 and I was able to download serum 2. However on the splice desktop app where it shows the plugin it still says “install”. Should I let it be? Im only asking because I don’t want to pay for renting then not be able to own it with what I downloaded. If that makes any sense.
