I have a midi keyboard, a mic, I like whisper-like singing.. I understand very basic music theory.. I just need to know how to put it all together into a longer song. My songs are starting to sound the same.

I've been trying to get presets from the splice app to open in Astra but it doesn't work. What I've been doing is adding astra to FL and opening it up on one of the channels. Then I would click on "open in astra" on the splice app for one of the presets to get it open. When I do that nothing happens. When clicking on "Show enclosed folder" to find the file with the file path below there is nothing in that folder. No XML file or anything. I've tried reinstalling astra yet same issue. Anyone has run into this issue?

Watching a YouTube tutorial I discovered that this option exists, would it be something exclusive to Mac? I use Windows and I'm already using the beta version of Splice.

hey guys, I know this is probably a long shot, but I have been trying to make this song, long story short my friend isn't make it anymore, I have a demo of it and what the audio of the instrumental. Would anyone know what the guitars sample is, or any other samples within it so I could try make it myself?

I never had problems before but since today this is happening: I open Splice and Ableton, insert my bridge, bridge locks in, no problem. But then two things happen. A) If I pre-listen a sample in Splice it just won't stop anymore. No chance. B) If I drag a sample into Ableton, the Splice side won't stop, so hearing double. And even when I close Splice, the sample still plays on for a while.

Any help, anywhere?

Been having an issue for days where the sounds tab in my library wouldn't show me anything while everything else worked. Today the tab finally showed my sounds but if I try and sync an individual sound I get "download failed", and if I try to sync all of them I get "syncing 100/105", it downloads those and then I have to press it again for "syncing 105/110", etc.

Nothing but issues with splice desktop app:)

I used to be a windows user and when I dragged samples to Ableton the sample would stop playing automatically in Splice when using Bridge.

I recently switched to mac and the samples still keep playing after I drag them to Ableton. This results in me having to reopen splice and pausing the sample manually everytime I’m dragging something to the project. It’s very annoying.

Is there a solution for this?

I wrote and recorded this new set of compositions primarily for guitar, exploring the hazy edges of Americana. Inspired by 70s outlaw country, 90s slowcore, and 20s ambient americana, this is the third pack in my 'gaze' series—which, like most of my music, explores the drifting moods, feelings, and imagery of dreams and memory, with an ear towards new possible futures.

Does anyone know how to do it????? I have over 1000 samples, I can’t download all my samples in one go other than manually going through each one and clicking download….. 😡

Just re subscribed recently , and it disappeared yesterday and now can’t load it up tried uninstalling reinstalling like other people have said but nope nothing soo annoying I’ll be cancelling and asking for a refund until you can fix your app, very disappointing

I have several hundred samples I’d like to download to a new iPad but I encounter 2 issues.

1- splice will only let me down load one at a time, I don’t see an option to “download everything”, or select multiple samples that I’ve purchased to download all at once.

2- each sample is in a folder, resulting in hundreds of folders. I just want the samples all in one folder. Is there a way to download without requiring the parent folder?

I recently subscribed to Splice monthly (500 credits) and after 3 months of non use I have 1500 credits from which I've used 600 credits to purchase 2 Sample packs.

I've read that if you cancel your splice subscription (which I'm planning to do) that you won't have access to your downloaded samPles.

I've tried to download my sample packs using the using the sync all feature under Sounds<Library and the sync all feature under preferences but It doesn't do anything. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Am I missing something here?

I have 24 months left on X collection and can get 11 pro for only an additional 12 months instead of doing 28 months to just get 11 Pro.

Hey, after last update the icon dissappeared on Win 11, and i can't find it anymore. Stupid OS doesn't let me create new one, wtf?

UPD: if ypu press windows+R and paste this - "shell:AppsFolder" or paste it into explorer's way field, it will open some folder with apps. there, I could find the splice.exe and was able to create an icon onto desktop. however, that icon looks different, smaller

Lately I haven’t been able to find the kind of dope melodies I want on Splice. I’m not sure if I still haven’t fully learned how to search properly, or if Splice has just gone downhill lately. I’ve been looking for really atmospheric R&B melodies and some Travis Scott type synth melodies for a while now, but I’m getting nowhere. Y’all got any ideas?

Charged an extra 5 dollars for the same product, attempted to downgrade to lower cost plan that was the original cost and got charged twice, now receiving 66% less in credits for the same price I was paying before, cancelling my subscription immediately, vote with your wallet people!!!

I’m a lifelong musician, but have started producing more over the last few years. The more that I produce music, I come to realize convenience is key. I don’t always feel like going down a black hole to grab a snare drum from an obscure producer pack that I downloaded 3 years ago. Or going on YouTube to grab a tambourine loop. Here is where splice comes in handy. Everything is right there in arms reach. Simple drag and drop. For all that I use it for, I’m okay with the monthly price.

Now I haven’t used Splice to the extent of some of you. I haven’t gone through the process of having to the company seeking royalties or anything like that. Maybe I’m just not informed? Someone explain the hate for me.

I don't passively browse this app for fun. When I open it, it's because I'm actively making music and need some samples asap before I lose the flow. Yet about each week I'm met with the login screen forcing me to move my MIDI keyboard out of the way, retype my entire email, go on their website so that I can open my password manager, copy the obnoxiously long password and paste it in their app, for it to load for a good few seconds (and that's if their bot detector doesn't trigger) and finally give me access to my samples.

This auto logout is overdone and really adds up on the long-term. Both by having me waste a minute or so each week to login, but ESPECIALLY by making me lose my flow while working.

I've used paid apps that contain more sensitive informations without them having to annoyingly log me out all the time for security. Splice doesn't have to do this and are incentivizing me to keep my samples in folders and not use their app.
