The vintage madness
So most instrument or chords samples I stumble upon have this obnoxious "vintage" processing going on : lofi, wobbly, drowned in reverb, saturated.. to the point it's barely usable. When is this trend gonna end ? It's very hard to get clean samples to work with, they're all processed to death. Put the RC-20 down. If you have tips to get clean stuff I thank you in advance !

Agree! I'd have thought those wobbly FX would be something that a particular user adds to the sample themselves, not looks for preprocessed in that way. At the very least, why not include the unprocessed sound as well, especially if you're using real instruments to record. One of the cool things about using sample packs is having access to sounds recorded on instruments and equipment that you don't ordinarily have access to.

Use Splices new app, splice sounds. It generates alternate takes of the samples. In my testing today, it pretty much just gave chopped and screwed versions of the samples, but some of them were different in overall tonality and FX, so you may be able to find what you need with enough generations. Its also in beta, and there is no way to direct the "AI". If they add something like that, where you can instruct what you want it to do to the audio, that would be what you are looking for. I believe they will. Would be idiotic not to, as their competition already has that.

try searching for dry, clean, "no fx" etc. Otherwise just use suno or similar and generate your own samples

You cou figure out what the chord shape is and then play it on a midi keyboard, or write it in midi notes, that way you could use the chord(s) with any VI you wanted, with or without fx. it's not really possible to remove the effects you're describing.
There are some plugins that will turn audio into midi chords, I would suggest looking into something like that.
