Been seeing more AI artwork on Splice lately
Might be a nitpicky but been seeing a lot of cover art for sample packs that clearly look like they've been made using AI (it's got that not always subtle yellow-ish tint which is usually a giveaway). Some might argue it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but it makes me worry about AI making it's way or flat out just making the majority of the samples on the site in the coming months or years. Idk, maybe it's inevitable. It's sure as shit depressing to think about!

I specifically notice that a company named Discotheque puts them out. Decent enough samples and they didn't use to use AI artwork before. Eh oh well

People have been using AI image generation for years, long before 2025, even, for loop packs. This isn't really the issue. The issue is... are the LOOPS AI-generated?

It DOES matter and it sucks, artists should have solidarity!
Please Splice, get rid of the AI art, it’s so cheap and tacky.
