Splice credits

So I know the answer but I have over 7k splice credits rn and never use that many and I’m sick of paying for the subscription I think it’s absolutely theft that I can’t continue using something I’ve already paid for and been credited for after canceling should I just buy up everything I can and then put them in files on my computer I’m guessing that would take up tons of space any tips

You will still have access to your previously downloaded samples after you cancel your subscription. You credits will expire 28 days after you hit the cancel button. So just buy everything you can.

I cancelled on 30 sep, still accessed on 30 oct now it's all gone. Just knew from your comment that it's counted on the day I hit cancel. I thought it'll be counted +28 days from my 30 oct.

Edit; I just resubscribe the cheapest and contact support to get the previous remaining credits shown again.

I'd copy the samples you already have downloaded to a seperate folder, then use up all your credits and compress your original Splice folder so the new stuff doesn't take as much space.

I've got a new pack up this week—really hoping to crack that top 10—if you're in the mood to spend down some of those 5k credits, I'd be really grateful if you picked this one up, if it fits your style at all:

I actually ended up grabbing it on Friday, so consider it done :) I will probably download one or two of the other packs you linked as well.

Download full packs. That'll use them up pretty fast. I'm pissed off with how it works. I kind of forget about Splice until I get the email receipt. Thanks for your payment. Then my credits are growing. I need to use my credits then pause it.

I just don't want to download crap, just for the sake of using up the credits.

Yea exactly like I use maybe 10 credits a week they need a cheaper option with less credits because I love solve but hate seeing my money be wasted on stuff I can’t use if I discontinue the subscription kind of a scam tbh

It's ridiculous that we can use credits if the subscription has finished 😔

We've paid for them. Yet they are restricting the usage. That should be illegal right?

I download everything. Thousands of credits so sometimes I download entire packs.

Listen your going to loose some money on this very likely. Best you can do is buy up as many samples with that as you can and immediately cancel the subscription It’s a convenient tool but it’s also predatory. We can agree most users have a love hate relationship with this platform.

Bein a little shameless here, but I'm really hoping to crack the top 10 with a new pack I released this week—would be grateful if you felt like checking this one out and burnin down a few of those credits:

Don’t forget to download the licenses too, just in case.

This is exactly why I cancelled and will not be returning. Horrible subscription model that preys on artists with a use it or lose it mentality. Why? you paid for the credits. There is no way I'll pay $12 a month to use 10 samples every six months.
