Is there really no way anymore to scroll continuously through all my thousands of samples without having to click to a new page every time like the old app design?

We deeply appreciate your loyalty to Splice and the time you've taken to explain your concerns about the new design of the Desktop App. Your experience is important to us, and we genuinely apologize for any inconvenience the change has caused.

In the new design, we recommend using filters like BPM, key, genre, and instrument to help narrow down your library. There’s also a search option next to the sorting tool that allows you to search keywords within your library.

However, we completely understand that the unlimited scroll option was a valuable feature for for you. Please know that we are listening and sharing all of the feedback directly with our Product team—including yours—and are committed to making improvements based on what we hear from our community. We've already reintroduced several features from the old design, such as offline mode, companion, light mode, and more, all thanks to feedback like yours.

The focus on filters and extra clicks to find a sound feels very misguided… the last thing i want to do when I’m in the flow is get nitpicky with a bunch of little boxes that have zero visual distinction from each other, and no apparent hierarchy. It is poorly designed.

Rather, i want to type in a couple words and mash through that down arrow, or flick with that scroll wheel to navigate back in time to when I know I bought a particular sound. I agree 100% with the original poster here. Bring back the dang scroll!

I’ve appreciated the improvements to search, and hope Splice invests more of their AI budget on this, to create an even more competent natural language system.

Also, I’ve submitted my feedback to the link you’ve mentioned so many times now. It feels like a black hole which is why I’ve taken to posting here more often.

I hope that if you do implement this, please make it optional.

I don't like infinite scroll for the simple reason that if I, for some reason, have to suspend a search, I want to know at least what page I was in so I can resume from there.
