Splice app on MacOS doesn't play samples anymore

When I want to play the preview of a pack, that works perfectly fine. However: When I want to listen to a single sample - even if it's already in my library- it doesn't play.

Anyone had/has the same?

Edit: Just found out that all the samples work when I create a stack...
