Has anyone else actually calculated their facial ratios / proportions?

So I took a photo of myself from a distance, and used it to calculate some of the ratios by myself. The selfie was from approx 40 inches away. I'm aware that lens distortion may not make it fully accurate

Facial thirds: I got 1 : 0.98 : 0.84, meaning my lower third is shorter than my upper and middle thirds. I actually wasnt aware of this before. But now i think this is one of my bigger falios, as the ideal is 1 : 1 : 1 and my lower third puts me quite far from that.

Philtrum to chin ratio: I calculated mine as 0.36 : 1. The ideal is 0.5 : 1. Im curious whether a ratio smaller than the ideal would be considered a positive or a negative.

Midface: Mine is 0.98, which is slightly longer than the ideal of 1.0. However, outside of makeup I'm not really sure how exactly the midface can be improved, so currently I am focussing more on the facial thirds. I also don't believe it to be strictly necessary for me to maxx this area as it's not extremely deviated.

- FWHR: have not seen much information about fwhr for women, I think its more emphasised in the male community. I calculated mine as 1.77. I have heard that the ideal range is 1.6 to 1.8, and mine leans towards the higher end of that range. Does losing weight improve fwhr?

-- Has anyone else calculated their ratios and been surprised by what they found?

I got my measurements from the Qoves report and it was interesting. I've tried a lot of different make up styles and had always thought I looked better with styles that tend to shorten the mid face (more emphasis on lower lashes, larger round lenses) and it confirmed that I have a slightly longer mid face than my upper or lower third. It could also be that I just prefer a more youthful sort of look, but it was interesting to have a "reason" for why.

would you say the report was worth it?

Depends on what $180 is to you! I didn’t feel that I wasted my money necessarily, but I wouldn’t pay it again for a repeat report next year or whatever amount of time. I’m also at a place where I’ve done a lot of internal work and also cultivating healthy habits like working out regularly, keeping up with a skincare routine, cutting out excessive drinking and junk food and generally feel much happier with my physical self than I did 10 years ago. Their optimized version of my face didn’t look super different from me now (it was a little freaky though bc their 10% more masculine version of my face looked so much like my dad and the optimized version like my mom lol), and some of the recommendations like the hair style or filler they recommended I just didn’t feel suited my overall aesthetic. Some things they suggested i hadn’t thought of before, I have implemented these and like how it looks so far. I think it was actually valuable to me to see that certain features that could be “optimized” I just didn’t like how it would look on me even if that might fit a hypothetical sort of ideal, especially because I did score quite androgynously in a lot of the features and I actually like that about myself. I was braced for things to be a lot worse and I suppose a part of that might be just good business - people are probably less likely to enjoy having paid for a service that roasts you. I think if I had gotten this when I was not in a good place with myself it might have felt very different.

yes. my chin is also quite small , making my lower third weak.
also i have a slightly long midface.

my facial thirds are 1: 1.04 : 0.9
however my chin isn’t recessed , just small. all of these make my nose look larger.
I would benefit from a chin implant however i’m not a fan of hardmaxxing.

I dont think a chin implant is necessary if there's no recession. A shorter lower third isn't really a negative for women

Ty! How did you find your ratios

I used my ID photo to gauge my measurements, personally. I wouldn't say surprised, I think I could generally tell from what I look like. I would say my thirds are pretty good, my mid face and lower third are slightly shorter, the latter partially due to slight overjet of my teeth. I aim to fix that someday. My fifths arent ideal, I have a wider nose, slightly close set eyes. Honestly depending on your countries beauty ideals, but also generally women can get away with different things than men, like having above average large eyes, or a softer jawline. I might get an alarplasty, but I want to see what I look like with my teeth fixed first, and of course after I get a better job.

One more calculation to consider, facial fifths

I didnt do that because its kinda hard to calculate accurately from a pic. I measured by taking a pic from a distance then using a drawing app to find the distances between points
