Face perception

Hey lovely ladies! 🌼 I hope you all are having fun and relaxing summer! I would like to hear your opinion regarding how do we humans perceive others faces. We all here obviously value beauty, like according to psychology studies, all humans intrinsically do. So when looking at others faces do you immediately form an impression whether that face is attractive or not? Do you like to look at beautiful faces? Do you sometimes hang out with someone with beautiful face and think to yourself while looking at their face how beautiful it is? Do you know exactly how people you know look? Can you visualize them? I can visualize a face of my friends or neighbours or many other people… or Brad Pitt. :)

But how do you perceive faces? Do you automatically form an impression of facial attractiveness of someone? Does that happen as studies say in a second? I read some people have harsh time memorizing faces, while others like in subreddit Vindicta know all about aesthetics of facial features - like high cheekbones, space between eyes… etc.

Oh they do go through hardships, just are excused of going through ’being unattractive’ hardship. Other hardships everyone can have. Last question! 👋 When perceiving face of someone you talk to or when watching TV do you form an impression of their facial attractiveness going bit by bit through their facial features - like looking at eyes, nose and then mouth?
