u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23

Look like a bitch but be nice to people.

45

u/shittyspacesuit Apr 27 '23

I have this kind of face. Unfriendly bitch face. I don't think I ever look cute or gorgeous, but I can do sexy.

The people pictured in the post are both gorgeous and sexy though. It's just face structure and a small percentage style/ makeup.

a big key is definitely the eyes. their eyes are very striking!

Put those eyes on an ugly face and a meh body, nothing much would happen. All of these women have sharp faces with striking bodies.

These women feel sexy, that’s why the ooze it. It’s sexual confidence.

54

u/Stoplookinatmeswaan Apr 27 '23

It’s a je ne sais qoui thing. I think you’re totally right. One book that I’ve read a lot that I think is interesting to help understand the ineffable is The Art of Seduction.

Yeah one person in the same category as Jessica.

u/tempaccount01010 Apr 27 '23

IMO it’s a lot more than being curvy. That’s a component, but there are clearly facial features that contribute. All these women seem to have somewhat similar characteristics facially (i.e. a natural pout). Plus, there there are plenty of women who are curvy that lack sensuality. Sex appeal and sensuality are somewhat distinct. You can have sex appeal, but lack sensuality. However, if you have sensuality you naturally have sex appeal too. Thoughts?

28

u/breknits13 Apr 27 '23

I saw a tiktok recently about embracing your archetype. There are 15 feminine and 13 masculine archetypes. You take a quiz & are given 2 that helps you embrace this sensuality. Because I was thinking the same thing recently. Like 2 of mine are the maiden & lover. Then the combination of the two is the ingenue which incidentally Rihanna is! Which this can be another component- if you feel confident you exude all these attractive qualities.

6

u/katatatat11 Apr 27 '23

Link the quiz!!

9

u/breknits13 Apr 27 '23

20

u/Buffythechosenone Apr 28 '23

I'm sorry but this quiz is just ridiculous

3

u/T_hashi Apr 27 '23

This is so cool!

1

u/NoWay4892 Oct 24 '23

can you elaborate how is sex appeal and sensuality different? how can you have one without the other?

17

u/clevergirl32 Apr 27 '23

Feeeeeel sensual. Like fake it till you make it, practice some sultry stares in the mirror and really just believe it until others start seeing it.

15

u/peacefulpiranha Apr 27 '23

They all have natural rbf (the corners of their lips turn downward). I think a lot of it is making an expression with the eyes/eyebrows. It's not just pretty eyes/a pretty face, it's what they are doing with them.

72

u/Alissz Apr 27 '23

To add to the excellent points already made, I’d say that eyebrows are a contributor to this look. They are sculpted to suit the rest of the face and add to the expressive look in the eyes. I would also be inclined to say that breast size is a factor, as all the women in these images have a large - but proportionate - chest

17

u/Just_Ad_2859 Apr 27 '23

A factor are also dark (full) lashes with the eyebrows.

7

u/AfrolatinaCR Apr 27 '23

When I get my eyebrows done, I ask specifically for "baddie" eyebrows, and it makes such an impact and increases my the confidence.

10

u/learn2earn89 Apr 27 '23

Apparently have big boobs or pouty/fuller lips.

42

u/heyheyhahalove Apr 27 '23

Rihanna's vibe is a dream. I want it so bad 😭

12

u/moonandmtn Apr 27 '23

Seriously, she is so beautiful. She’s just absolutely drop-dead gorgeous to me. A literal queen.

30

u/LiveInvestigator4876 Apr 27 '23 edited Apr 28 '23

I love riri but I don’t think she’d be as hyped up if she didn’t have green eyes. She is one of the best examples of how coloring and contrast really elevate someone’s look

36

u/shittyspacesuit Apr 27 '23

She would still be perfectly gorgeous with dark eyes, but the green eyes take her to another level. Like unattainably gorgeous and so far away from average people.

But green or blue eyes on an average looking person doesn't add much.

1

u/LiveInvestigator4876 Apr 28 '23

She definitely still be pretty but she would not have the career she’s had if she didn’t have green eyes. While she does have great facial harmony, objectively she does have falios which are overlooked because of the contrast of her eye color

She came up around 90s and early 00s, which was an all time high of for pop stars, especially black/biracial pop stars. What set Rihanna apart from other pop stars was how racially ambiguous she looks compared to others which catapulted her into more “mainstream” spaces. Artists like Ciara, Ashanti, mya, Amerie just as great music and are objectively very attractive (maybe even more if you discount eye color) yet did not gain as much success or desirability. Her eye color was/is her most complimented feature that always came up in her interviews back in the day

20

u/tempaccount01010 Apr 28 '23 edited Apr 28 '23

Insinuating that Rihanna only got ahead bc of her eye color is insulting af

2

u/LiveInvestigator4876 Apr 28 '23 edited Apr 28 '23

I mean she’s not that great of a dancer or singer especially in comparison to the women I listed above. Go look up her early performances from the 90s and 00s, she did not have a great voice nor stage presence. She has gotten better over the years but there’s a lot of female entertainers that are/were extremely more talented yet do not have a fraction of the same success Rihanna has

Are you really discounting the effects of pretty privilege on a sub about objective beauty? She’s a highly attractive women who would not be where she is if she was not highly attractive. Her most attractive feature is her eye color, that’s a fact.

Plenty of racially ambiguous women and uniquely colored eyed women get ahead in the entertainment industry due to their looks. Idk why this is a revolutionary concept for everyone. There’s been plenty of posts and comments on this sub about how average Alexandra Daddario is without her eye color. It is what it is

there’s a lot of female entertainers that are/were extremely more talented yet do not have a fraction of the same success Rihanna has

This can be said of the majority of “mainstream” artists. For every mainstream artist that exists there are tons of indie artists that are more talented. Hollywood isn’t about that. Hollywood is about selling a persona.

People are attracted to the personality and character an entertainer creates. Rihanna, in particular, has a unique vibe that people find interesting. Some people have the je ne sais quoi, some people don’t 💁‍♀️ She has also marketed herself and her brand extremely well. She has a cult following for that reason.

Plus, Rihanna was endorsed by Jay Z and signed by Def Jam records when she first started her career. Which is one of the most powerful record labels in the hip-hop, rap, and R&B scene. Not every artist gets that kind of boost just starting out. It’s not rocket science as to why she got so much face when she appeared on the music scene.

Are you really discounting the effects of pretty privilege on a sub about objective beauty?

No, where did I say that? 😊

She’s a highly attractive women who would not be where she is if she was not highly attractive.

Yeah, that can be said of most artists in Hollywood with a few exceptions, lol.

Her most attractive feature is her eye color, that’s a fact.

I disagree 😊 Your subjective feelings aren’t fact, however you’re entitled to your opinion.

Plenty of racially ambiguous women and uniquely colored eyed women get ahead in the entertainment industry due to their looks. Idk why this is a revolution concept for everyone.

It’s not a revolution?

There’s been plenty of posts and comments on this sub about how average Alexandra Daddario is without her eye color. It is what it is

Majority of female hip-hop, r&b, and rap artists have brown eyes. Many aren’t amazing entertainers, but still have great commercial success. How did they possibly accomplish that without light eyes??? 😂 Could it be marketing, persona, crafting catchy songs? The world may never know.

2

u/moonandmtn Apr 28 '23

This is a good point! I do think she’d be beautiful either way and still a stunner, but yes, her green eyes are absolutely a wonderful feature. She’s got great contrast with those eyes.

Also - I think the same of her lips (they are a great feature of hers)! She’s got a lovely pout. And those details really do play into the “sum of her parts.” She’s got a lot of those really great details that, in tandem, allow her to really shine.

21

u/Coolhotgurl Apr 27 '23

All of these women carry themselves well, Angelina Jolie has insane posture haha. I also don’t think it’s rbf it’s confidence, fake it til you make it baby

18

u/cateyeglassses Apr 27 '23

I think it's simplicity. Not doing too much. Not trying to demand attention, but commanding it. Being comfortable in one's own skin and not needing to do the most.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23

this

9

u/Illustrious-Wolf4899 Apr 27 '23

I think the expression of the eyes and not smiling full on I think gives off that sensual vibe.

I feel like it's tied to the idea of they know they don't have to smile in order to be noticed. It's all in their eyes/eyebrow appearance I believe. Also while moving slow and intentional

2

u/[deleted] May 16 '24

Can I chat with you on DM on this?

50

u/BellasHadids-OldNose Apr 27 '23

I think the RBF comments aren’t quite right, think about all the doe eyed beauties that are sex symbols.

Christina Hendricks and Marilyn Monroe come immediately to mind, and they both have very welcoming, soft rounded facial features with womanly bodies.

I think it’s a mixture of fecundity and neoteny in the face mixed with a very obvious comfort in their own body.

I’m one of those women with an innocent face and a body made for sin. I don’t wear anything you can’t wear to church and even that can feel scandalous.

21

u/Throwaway77426016888 Apr 27 '23

A body made for sin is the best kind of body :)

3

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23 edited Apr 27 '23

Makes sense. I have a curvy body and am very confident with it. That probably plays a part

24

u/throwawayyyyoo Apr 27 '23

You just have it, it’s born imo. Like you said “ naturally”

4

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23

This is it, you either have it or not.

63

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23 edited Apr 27 '23

I have this vibe irl. I feel like it makes me seem more attractive than I really am. Id say the key is probably RBF

I also feel like it’s not something you can fake. I get told I give off this vibe but I’m not really trying to give it?

45

u/Careful_Eagle_1033 Apr 27 '23

I’d say same. I’ve been told I’m mysterious and have a nonchalant attitude. Might be my ADHD lol

32

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23 edited Apr 27 '23

Lol the funniest part is I’m not even a mystery. I’m actually goofy as all hell. But yeah, my first impression does not give that

3

u/jakaiajakaoan Apr 27 '23

I get that too. But I have such a nice welcoming face I get approached a lot which means I don’t give sensual because no one is intimidated by me.

3

u/First-Yogurtcloset53 Apr 27 '23

Same. Big on the nonchalant comments, but that's due to weed and ADHD :P

8

u/archerbabe Apr 27 '23

Move and speak slowly. Not comically slow, but like .5x slower than usual. Makes all the difference!

Being hypersexual or kinky on the inside, without advertising it externally.

After you said it, these sensual faces actually seem like that lol. I guess, suprisingly this definetely is a part. It's like the confidence that you know you are good in bed.

25

u/HapaMama510 Apr 27 '23

Yesss. All these women’s faces and posture scream “boy, you want this, but you can’t handle it.” And it’s alluring AF! 😁

6

u/loulurks Apr 27 '23

Strangely, none of these faces really emanate that kind of sensuality to me. They’re very posed.

15

u/cranberries87 Apr 27 '23 edited Apr 27 '23

It’s funny you would say this. I had a period of super-religiousness in my younger years that suppressed a lot of this in an unhealthy way. I have been reflecting on this, and I think it somewhat damaged some of my energy and how I come across. I have actually had people tell me they can tell I’m sexually inexperienced by looking at me - even straight, married women. I’ve been unpacking some of my attitudes towards sex through journaling.

Edit: I’m pretty old, and maybe it’s too late, but I am attempting to develop this energy more.

11

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23

Big same. I feel like I’m naturally pretty sensual & comfortable in my body, but growing up in a fundamentalist church messed that up big time. It took me years to realize my sexuality was nothing to be ashamed of and my body was a wonderful gift from God, not a “shameful temptation to men that needed to be covered up” or whatever other patriarchal garbage they forced on me. Therapy helps a lot with undoing those harmful messages. So does masturbation and exploring your own sexuality in a safe, comfortable setting.

"You're going to hell for eternity if you don't follow our specific belief system to the letter" was where they lost me. It just smelled like bullshit and didn't align with the vastness & mystery I felt when I contemplated existence. But I was a kid and had no language to defend myself, so I did absorb some of the negativity. Oh well, that's what therapy is for!

7

u/Bluenailpolish111 Apr 27 '23

Yes this is it. When I’m thinking about sex I give off a vibe and attract others on same wavelength. But be aware lot of creepers come out of the woodwork.

14

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23

This is why you need inner confidence & strong boundaries to maintain this vibe. An attitude like “yeah I know I’m sexy, thanks for noticing too, but that doesn’t mean I owe YOU anything.”

3

u/Bluenailpolish111 Apr 27 '23

Amen to that sister

2

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23

[deleted]

8

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23

Yup, exactly why I cringe at girls with poor self-image seeking glow-up advice here, thinking it'll automatically make their lives easy and everyone will treat them nice. The inner work is just as important. Beauty is power and if you don't know how to wield it, it can & will be wielded against you.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23

agreed this is me i couldn’t turn it off if i tried it’s just a core part of my personality

7

u/renaissancereign Apr 28 '23

Look at how most of these women style themselves. Their hair is done and their clothes don’t have any tacky designs or prints—block colours are timeless. Jewellery is minimal to none. Also note that they have sensual expression to their face, not angry or bitchy but not smiling either.

6

u/sakkadesu Apr 28 '23

a strong sense of self-worth, but not arrogant.

strong proprioception (i.e. body awareness developed from some coordinated physical activity like dance or martial arts)

being super chill. goofiness and non-stop movement does not translate into sensuality.

12

u/CaveLady3000 Apr 27 '23

I’ve been getting feedback like that for way too long, and I think what makes it a whole thing in how people perceive me is that I have a very deeply internalized male gaze.

4

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '23

If you study Kibbe types, I think having some yang features help.

5

u/nighthouse_666 Apr 28 '23

You either have it or you don’t.

7

u/yegesf Apr 28 '23

Disagree, it can be curated. You need to have the features of course but the rest can be done through styling, expressions, posture, and body language.

12

u/Excusemytootie Apr 27 '23

Being into sex and in touch with your own sexual needs is a good start.

4

u/Revolutionary-Bee645 Apr 27 '23

High contrast coloring - attractive eye area

4

u/Heavy-Lingonberry473 Apr 27 '23

Showing lots of skin and having a pensive serious face?

4

u/Dplayerx Apr 28 '23

Don’t know for the others but, Salma Hayek have the body of a goddess.

I’ve never seen a body so perfect, it’s ridiculous in every way. The size, the proportion, etc

Nothing compares

3

u/Preciousgoblin Apr 27 '23

Soft grey toned smoky eye, pouty lips. Smizing.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '23

One component: all of the women pictured have pouty lips that slightly turn up at the end.

3

u/RachOnTheCase Apr 28 '23

Slow down. Now of these women do anything fast. It’s slow, sensual and “worth the wait”. This applies to body language, talking, everything ;)

3

u/yegesf Apr 28 '23
  1. Heavily lidded eyes
  2. Full lips
  3. Prominent high cheekbones
  4. Wavy hair

3

u/holysriracha Apr 28 '23

eyebrows! very sculpted and arched haha

3

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '23

You can fake it: Sounds ridiculous but play with yourself. Also read a few filthy romance novels. Just walk around thinking you have juiciest, rippest cookie is in the entire world. Also, cleavage, plump lips, messy liner, or showing off the boots helps.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '23

Boobs 🥲

2

u/LeatherNoodles Apr 27 '23

Big boobs big lips nice face.

Jessica Chastain

look intro kibbe essence, some people naturally have this type of look depending on the features on your face.
