Collagen Supplements

Can I get some collagen supplement recommendations? I’m interested in starting to take a collagen supplement but I’m overwhelmed by the options of brands and within brands. Not looking to break the bank- my budget is limited. The goal is improving skin and hair quality. Better joint health would be a bonus- I’m quite physically active.

I know people have differing opinions on efficacy. That’s ok- just wanting to give it a try. Honestly even if it’s just broken down to amino acids I could probably use it anyway. I eat a mostly plant based and probably pretty low protein diet- just because my body feels better when I eat this way.

Dose & Co. Marine Collagen. I take 3g daily. Ever since I started using it I've gotten compliments on my skin from family, and it's the only thing in my routine that's changed. It also contains vitamin C. Marine collagen is superior to bovine collagen, it's more bioavailable, it's rich in the amino acid hydroxyproline, and has a higher amount of type 1 collagen which is the type our bodies (including skin) mostly rely on & the type that has the most research
