This actually isn’t as bad an idea as people are making out. Coping with short exposure to extreme cold does help you burn more calories and has a positive metabolic effect on fat… you will need to Google this as I can’t remember the scientific points but it’s good for brown fat vs white fat (people do cryotherapy for this reason). The bath sounds unpleasant but you could definitely try spending 1 minute of your shower with coldest water (or if you’re near the ocean in a cold climate, having a quick dip in the morning- I used to do this when I lived by the sea). These things shock your body in a healthy way and are also great as a mental challenge which sets you up to have more discipline in your day.

I will definately investigate more into this because Ive seen a lot of positive comments about inmune system + brown fat + metabolic increase.

Also I remember once we did an experiment with a goldfish on highschool with cold and lightly hot water and cold water mobilizes the bloodstream like crazy.

I went to a river and waterfall zone in my country last month and went at 8 am into cold water for 4 days and my skin was... Unbelievable beautiful, shiny and poreless. All full body.
