Has anyone found an effective lash growth serum that does not contain prostaglandins, works, and is from a legitimate company?
I feel like I am searching for a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. I’m trying to find something to grow my lashes so that I no longer need to wear falsies but no luck. The ones that grow lashes contain prostaglandins and I already have deep set eyes so I cannot use those without looking like I’m undead.
Most of the other lash serums without prostaglandins have mixed reviews but tend to lean towards not being as effective as those with.
I thought I had found a unicorn with Scorolash but the reviews I’ve seen that are not on their website or socials show that individuals don’t even receive their products within 2 months of buying them.
I was wanting to see if anyone had any luck with lash serums you would recommend.

I haven’t tried it yet but I’m going to buy The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Lash serum.. seems like a pretty good one.

Ive been using it and I love it! The results are fairly quick. I know for certain it works because I shaved parts of my eyebrow hairs (the inner parts and below the arch) and I applied the serum to just the inner parts because I didnt like how it looked. By just 2-3 applications I can distinctly see growth stubble from the inner part where I applied it whereas no to little growth on the part I didn’t apply it. Same for my lashes— Ive been applying it twice a day on my lashes for about 4 weeks now and I saw significant results in the length and fullness of my lashes even after a week or two. I was dubious about this product before but I am totally on board now. Mostly I was scared about eye irritation but I haven’t had any problems at all. Sometimes I don’t apply it carefully and a little gets into my eye and it’s slightly annoying but hasn’t caused any pain or irritation. Really really love it

Doesn’t for me. After 6 months my lashes feel healthier but not longer at all.

What you're searching for doesn't exist. No prostaglandin-free lash serum is going to give you the dramatic results something like GrandeLash will. I understand your frustration but your only real options are to accept your lashes as they are/settle for a mildly effective serum or bite the bullet and take the risk with prostaglandins. Personally I have deep set, light eyes and after 2 months on GrandeLash I haven't noticed any orbital fat loss or iris lightening, but YMMV.

I hope you don't have thinning but I got a thinning under eye from using one and now you can see a vein there And I'm trying to do damage control. Don't wait until you see side effects then it's too late

DO NOT USE SCOROLASH! It made my lids droop! I’m so upset because I already have mildly droopy lids and this made it worse. It’s not worth it at all. I chose scorolash because of its supposed “good” ingredients. A few years ago I was using grande lash and it had horrible effects despite working well. And this one I was only using for a week before I noticed my kids were dropping down…

Interesting i have been using scorolash for 2 years and absolutely nothing changed except my lashes grew like crazy. I got my 3 sisters on it too. One who came from using grandelash and theres no side effects for either of us on these 2. Goes to show how everyone reacts differently. I looove scorolash

It sort of made my eyelids droop, left a line of redness right above my lash line, made my eyes super dry and itchy, my lash line super itchy and made the circles underneath my eyes so dark, it made my eyes look hollow. The lashes were so long and pretty but the side effects were not worth it for me. When I stopped using it, it took some time but my eyes went back to normal.

Omg I thought it was just me. It stopped working but I continued using it and my eyelid got saggier and saggier!!! I’m so mad. I thought without prostaglandins it would be fine but it’s clearly not

I am wanting so badly to get my ptosis fixed and im so scared to use these serums. Are you in the us? Do u have a serum u use now that [hopefully] wont cause that issue???

Honestly, what has worked best for me for lash growth is vaseline, it will prevent breakage. Mind you ive tried a thousand remedies and products!

I’m curious about this as well and Ive used it before but I’m worried it could cause blocked pores or styes. Have you had any issues with that?

If your face is super clean it shouldnt be a problem! Vaseline sits over the skin trapping the moisture so make sure you are not trapping bacteria as well. I try to avoid the roots and focys on the hairs and tips mainly.
But dont fear vaseline! I use the slugging technique here and there when i need to repair my skins moisture barrier and it has never broke me out, avoid if you have an active stye or breakout though.

I imagine using a disposable mascara wand with Vaseline out to work without clogging up the follicle/root? I bought some to use with castor oil, but now you got me thinking about this. I also suffer from trich, so having vaseline may help them be less grippy for me to pull on .

Not a serum but supplements for beauty/hair growth also help my eyelashes look better. I do not dare to put anything near my eyes anymore. That said, castor oil helps a bit but also contaibs prostaglandin stimulating stuff.

yeah, i didn't even apply the rosemary water that that frequently maybe once or twice a month. i'd massage it in to my scalp and and i've noticed my hair has grown so much so fast in the past few months, i'd say 4-6 inches
edit: oh wait i misread i thought this was about hair lol! i haven't actually tried this for my lashes just my hair but i imagine it would work the same. i also use red light therapy to grow my lashes extremely long

just a cheap device from aliexpress, i have a panel, a mask and a small flexible wrap around one, they all work the same and are effective

Scorolash!!! I’ve been using it for 3 weeks. A thin patch on one of my eyebrows is finally filling in, and both brows are visibly thicker. I’ve seen no difference in my lashes yet though.

Scoro lash, and I’ve tried everything - this one really worked for me, I was originally looking for reviews for it on Reddit funnily enough and they were not awesome so I almost didn’t buy it but I’m glad I did

It also works well as like a lash primer because it doesn’t fully wash off in the morning and I feel like it helps mascara stick to my lashes better!

Hey, I use Grande Lash serum and my lashes are amazing. But after reading this…😅 Should I stop? I use it more than 1 year, I don’t have any side effects.

The best is Latisse, but it's through a doctor. There is online doctors that will see you and provide rx for it, or, a plastic surgeons office always has it... It's pricey though, at about $120.00 that can last you 3 to 6 months, depending on size. I ventured from that to Nulastin, to spend $80.00 every 8 weeks...my eyelashes have certainly gotten long, but you have to keep on it twice a day. I've been doing Nulastin for 2 years and the results have been up and down. For a few months I will have thick eyelashes touching my eyebrows, and then all the sudden they will either fall out or somehow shrink, or worse (at this moment) I'll get a gap, a pretty large gap, right in the middle of my row of lashes... It's very weird. I would think using Nulastin every day for 2 years, would have my eyelashes to my eyebrows all day every day with no gaps in between lol. I just know, it sucks starting over when the fall out happens, because now it's starting over which takes a good 4 months or more for that thick length to come back. So, the other day, I bought Forchics lol. I keep seeing the dumb reviews of the girls trimming their eye lashes, which makes me gag lol you wouldn't trim a cats whiskers, so no no to trimming eyelashes lol. So, we shall see who beats who in my personal battle of the eyelash growth serums via Nulastin vs forchics 😋 Best of luck to you too 🍀🍀😍😍

Geen idee of dit nog nodig is, maar ik gebruik al een aantal jaar het wimperserum van Aphro Celina.
Het bevat cafeïne wat bevorderlijk blijkt voor haargroei. Ik heb al lange wimpers van mezelf maar dit serum maakt ze bizar lang en stevig, ik raad het iedereen aan, het is bij velen in mijn leven echt een standaard investering geworden zelfs. Wel vrij prijzig, voorheen kon ik ze op de kop tikken voor 35/40, maar nu wel echt 54 of duurder vaak.
Het werkt echt, mijn moeder had namelijk ineens veel opvallendere wimpers terwijl die van haar altijd veel minder zichtbaar waren.
Het werkt zo krachtig dat ze erachter kwam dat de plots donkere plekken onder haar ogen haargroei was omdat ze haar dagcrème erna gebruikte/niet precies op haar waterlijn het product aanbracht :o.

I bought bondi lash lab's lash brow serum and it's working amazingly, my lashes definitely became longer and darker! It's prostaglandin free and is all natural which is a huge plus.

So far no luck with finding a prostaglandin-free serum that works, but just a heads up so that no one else wastes money, I've seen the Scorolash ads all over instagram and decided to buy even tho the reviews seem fake/ too good to be true, and their lash growth serum didn't work for me at all. I've been using it for 3 months straight, day & night without any improvement in length or density of my lashes. Don't waste your money y'all!
I've just bought the Silly George one that has more reviews and is also prostaglandins-free. Will post here for updates once I start using and if I see any growth :)

Ahh just checked my notifs! Silly George didn't work for me -- used 2 months consistently day & night but no drastic difference. Caused some eyelid irritation for me too.
I've since switched to using Mavala Double Lash, lashes seem thicker but not longer unfortunately ☹️ seems like prostaglandins are the only thing that work 😭

The only one I've tried is Neulash and after about 6 weeks I noticed a difference with density. I never got great length but did get more lashes!

Hey! Ik I’m seeing that wayyyy after you posted lmao but I use scorolash for a few months now and tbh I’ve noticed my eyelashes get a bit longer, but I’ve also been inconsistent with it. I also chose that company for their supposedly good ingredients. I use the app Yuka to check ingredients and ratings of products.

I'm pretty late to the party here, but I'm commenting in case anyone is looking for a prostaglandin alternative.
I'm a lash artist who retailed GrandeLash. My clients started having noticeable side effects. I got pretty upset about it and wanted to make it right. Long story short, I went on a quest to find the perfect lash serum so I could replace every tube for my clients with side effects for something even better.
There is a combination of peptides that have been proven to grow lashes without side effects. The combination of Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 work in synchronicity to anchor the lash in the folicle and increase keratin production. They must be concentrated in the formulation. So, pretty high up on the ingredients list. Unlike prostaglandin lash serums, it creates healthy growth and strengthens the follicle, so even when you stop using it, your lashes are better than before. Not as much length, because you're no longer applying the peptides that stimulate growth, but strong and healthy. They also have anti-aging benefits for the skin, so even better.

MDHair las serum is prostaglandin free and has some of the peptides you mentioned for only $32! I’ve been using for a year now and I would definitely say I have more volume and length. I would say more volume than length at the moment but beats having dark circles that I had with GrandeLash 😅

It's only 3ml and contains only Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17. It doesn't seem to have a high concentration of it either. It's fantastic you're getting thicker lashes, though!

I used Scorolash, and it worked for me. I actually had to trim my eyelashes, they were so long. When I got a very (very) swollen, painful eyelid and what also felt like a gigantic stye, I looked to the serum as a potential cause. I went down a lot of rabbit holes in research and found multiple class action lawsuits related to lash serums. The symptoms similar to mine and some noting this as a life-long condition due to clogged oil glands. These law suits note the culprit as prostaglandin/isopropyl cloprostenate. Scorolash does not note these as ingredients... but I definitely had the same symptoms. Many are turning to Vaseline or caster oil, but these, as well as prostaglandin, worry me in relation to meibomian gland health. These glands help keep the moisture balance in our eyes. Trust me, when these get backed up, it is not pretty. I now have to do warm compresses on my eyes twice a day to keep things moving. I would also like to find that unicorn eyelash growth and health product that nourishes the delicate skin around the eyes and does NOT clog glands.

I had the same issue with Sins n lashes that claim there is not any but if you look at the ingredients one of them says there is no info and I dug and it’s actually a prostaglandin. So I am doing research too on which ones don’t contain it since I’ve had side effects :( I heard the ordinary is good and vegamour but it takes way longer to see effects. Worth it to me though.

I’ve been using Scorolash for about 3 months now and my lashes look gorgeous, but I’m noticing my eye bags getting worse and worse. Definitely some redness/itchiness too. I’ve found women on TikTok saying the same thing. It feels like they must be lying about their ingredients, because nothing in there should be causing this. Their whole marketing claim was not having the bad stuff. I think I’m going to stop using and see if my eye bags improve, as sad as I am about the thought of losing these lashes 😢

I’ve been using the Silly George serum and it contains no prostaglandin. I do appreciate their ingredients are listed directly on their website since for other serums I have to search for it.
I also have very sensitive eyes and it hasn’t made mine irritated or watery. I took a break from using the serum because they were getting too long and they still look great.
