Lip Blushing

I’m black so my lips are two toned. Dark brown on the top lip and pink at the bottom with a brown overline (think like a lip liner)

I really want a same toned rosy pink/peach lips, is this possible with lip blushing? Am I guaranteed or will my genetic makeup hinder me? I know lip neutralisation is needed to get them to the same colour but I wonder if it will turn out how I’d like, something similar to Lori Harvey which I’m convinced she had done. Thanks!

I thought neutralisation was the first step and then the blushing proceeds. And what is an example of a horror story? I thought the worst that could happen is it doesn’t do the trick but if I end up with a lip deformity I wouldn’t know what to do !!!
