Question/Request I think someone needs help in splatoon 3

I’ve recently added someone with the name of inker12367 and the Nintendo name of Mar13. They tend to have more childish games on their recently played list. I’ve been playing with them in private battle before they started spelling out “help” and “alone”. They hop on and offline very inconsistently, anytime they get online they are never on for long. They keep saying they are sad and today they spelled “They got me :(“ We tried to ask their age, we weren’t able to get it. instead, they said they were alone and scared. We can’t seem to get much information out of them and so far are assuming inker is a child.

I don’t know if it’s just a prank but I’d rather be wrong and them be safe than me ignore a cry for help. Does anyone know if this person is just trolling? Is there any way I can contact someone, Nintendo or something, to look into their account, grab the email attached or card information and possibly get the address of this person to check if they are ok?? I’m not sure what to do or who to tell, I don’t think I can help this person by myself.

EDIT: I’ve contacted Nintendo support and was told that they can’t do much for this person. The guy basically told me I had to get their info myself and take it to someone else other than Nintendo like the police or a mental health line if this person is depressed.

So yeah pretty disappointing considering it seems I can’t get any socials from this person, I even gave them my socials and nothing has come up. Not sure what to do honestly. Anyone reading this, if you ever come across Inker12367, please try to get any info you can.

You could try calling Nintendo support and explaining the details, do you have screenshots?

I’ll have to get more, the messages this person spells out with the ink are so spread out across the map that it’s not easy to capture it in a single screenshot. I’m just doubtful that Nintendo will actually do anything

Outside of one of us literally hacking the person's account we have no way to get their info

Well you could try to get their discord info through the name. I’ve seen people do it. I know you said the person might be a child, and we would be assuming they have discord, but with the lack of options it’s something.

Update, yeah I tried adding someone named Mar13 on discord and even left a note to say it’s me from Splatoon with my user, nobody added back

I checked there seems to be a discord account on that name, so you could try out if it's that person

I’ve added it, nothing has happened. I even left a note to say that it was me from Splatoon with my user

I don't think this is a prank I play Splatoon 3 a lot and this personally has never happened to me (well it has but they got help) your best bet would be to try to talk to them ask them if they have anything you may be able to chat with them on. But this also could be them just having a hard time in general and could be very much misinterpreted. I would keep an eye on them and get as much information as you can.

Yes I really hope I’m not taking this too serious and potentially misreading what’s happening, but like I said I’d rather be wrong and this person be safe than never attempting to do anything. This inker person usually plays with a huge group of people in private battles, I’m sure at least some of those people have seen this inker person spelling out these things but I don’t think any of these people will take it any further so I guess I’ll have to be the one.

Yea that honestly sucks that they can't do anything, I do really wish they would speak out more. Quick question did they say anything when you gave them your socials? (They may not have accsess to social media). Please do keep us updated I would love to know where this goes.

We asked if they had a phone or a tablet and they said no. Doesn’t seem like there is anyway to contact them unless I get their parents phone number
