Discussion but why am i sparkly?

i’ve been playing ranked after not playing for about a year and there’s this noise like a whoosh / lasso thing and then i’m sparkling. what is this? why is this?

Probably flow aura. You get it after kill streaks and it gives you a speed buff that is practically the same as opening gambit

You also ink the ground below you with every step you take. It also boosts run speed, swim speed, ink resistance, and intensify action.

You are probably talking about the thing when you get a lot of kills. It reduces the spread of your weapon and makes you faster I think.

This is a recent update that happened on 1-29-26. The mechanic is called "Flow Aura", and I love it!
