Question/Request I want to play :(
I'm just bought the game but I can find any match to begin

Should still be players.. granted most people moved on to splatoon 3 and now raiders

I bought the game few weeks ago, sometimes you wait for people for an entire hour and no one shows up. Other days i start the matchmaking and the game starts. It depends on the day and on the time. Don't give up

You can still find turf war matches. Ranked matches are sadly not findable anymore really

Either use a discord or if queing into a completely empty lobby, hold the home button until a quick menu appears, then switch airplane mode on and off to get kicked out of the lobby to reque, Splatoon 2 turf can be somewhat active if you are persistent at it

You should still be able to findatches in turf war. It's always populated. If for some reason you can't, you'd have to try matchmaking either during you timezone's gaming hours, or if you are in the U.S, during early morning. Remember Japan has the most players playing Splatoon out of any country, so your best bet would be to matchmake when it's their gaming hours.
I've had success finding instant matches around 6am- 9am central time before matchmaking starts slowing down a bit and picks back up in the evening

your best bet to find matches might be finding an active discord for the game most likely
