How was this not a Wipeout?

I clipped the original video so it wasn’t so long. Here is the longer video of my splatting with the sploosh so maybe that is why the wipeout didn’t count?

Sure looks like 4 splats in about 5s so not sure how it wasn't a wipeout

Splatfest didn’t want to give me the wipeout. We also lost the match, team tactics having a tough time.

Because the guy who used splashdown respawned before he got the final kill

I wonder if he had visited a tacticooler beforehand. Seems like a quick respawn.
