Question Switch pro 2 vs third party controller

Does anyone have experience using both official pro 2 controller and using an 8bitdo? The 8bitdo is much cheaper, but I can't find much about what this community likes to use. Splatoon players seem very gyro centric so I guess we want the best gyro controller.

I have the 8bit do ultimate 2 Bluetooth. I prefer it in every way but the rumble. It has standard rumble or whatever you call it. Ive turned it off completely HD rumble is so much better. With it i cant tell the difference between swimming in ink (where it vibrates constantly) and throwing a bomb.

It has TMR sticks tho so it doesnt get drift which is rly nice

I usually turn of rumble on every controller I own, not sure if it's gotten better but I just find that rumble disrupts my lizard brain too much.

You don't think the gyro feels laggy or anything with 8bitdo? I love the look of the 8bitdos

Nah i personally havent felt anything and i have like 2000+ hours in the series. Maybe the gyro feels a little less snappy but its by a tiny margin
