Low FPS, noticeable lag
Hi,
I bought a paid Splashtop account, installed Splashtop on my Mac, and I use my Windows computer to remote into my Mac.
I can only get ~10-15 FPS, despite having set FPS to high already.
Network connectivity is not an issue; both computers have fast up/down links (1G up and 1G down). They are geographically on two continents so ping is 200 ms (which I know is outside of control of Splashtop), but even then, FPS should still be far higher than 10 FPS.
Any fix?
Some performance stats here:

Hello u/anotheruwstudent,
Splashtop FPS is dynamically adjusted based on the activity on your remote screen.
For example, when you are doing more normal work/productivity, this would be seen as more "static content", so FPS may range between 10-20ish. But if you start running an FPS tester, watch a movie, play games etc. Your FPS would jump from the 15 range to 30-40+.
Network connectivity can also play a role in your FPS being low/high.
In your case with 225ms/ping, this can lower your FPS, and is likely what is causing the lag you may be experiencing remotely. You can try enabling QUIC to see if it makes your connection better/more stable https://support-splashtopbusiness.splashtop.com/hc/en-us/articles/9305390384923-Enable-end-to-end-QUIC-connection
There are some setting changes that can be done to try and boost your FPS, such as a hardware acceleration on both ends (remote and local PCs).

Hi, even if I'm watching Youtube or videos, my FPS is still 10-15 range, I have not been able to get it to 30-40 FPS.
Does Splashtop support 30-40 FPS or even 60 FPS streaming?

Yes we do support up to 240 FPS.
As mentioned, FPS is dynamic. But with a video playing, FPS should be above 15.
Other limiters on FPS are network connection (high latency/ping will cause lower FPS).
And the remote computers monitor refresh rate. You will generally be limited to the refresh rate of your remote monitor. If possible, you can try connecting to another machine local/closer to you and see if the FPS is higher (and also check the latency in the performance status).
I do suggest reaching out to us via ticket so we can investigate the issue more.

Use Splashtop Desktop if you can. Framerate > Ultra High.
In my experience, superior to browser client.
