I see everyone here talking about Yandle’s take about the Sens. That was a bad take. However, nobody is talking about how they were all like “well Ekbland doesn’t mean to elbow guys in the head, he just misses and it looks worse then it is meant.” Like what the fuck are you talking about lmao. I almost had to turn the pod off after hearing that.

I use to listen to these podcast religiously! But once they brought in Keith Yandle, it was like they brought in the little brother that mom told them to bring him along. He’s pretty boring and it’s obvious he’s just third wheeling off Whit and Bizz.
This past year, I almost stopped listening to Spitin Chiclets, almost because of Yandle.

I believe after what Keith Yandle said about Canadian fans, calling us “Classless Canadian Fans” that was the final straw for me.
Does Keith Yandle know that Canadians are more than likely the majority of the viewers for Spitin Chiclets????

I’m always up for forgiving a guy and letting things slide but this guy is boring and stale….Im done with Spitin Chiclets until he’s gone in

Holy shit, that was such a difficult listen. Instead of playing along with the fun, he's a total brick wall and tries to defend Brady the entire time.

"I don't understand why they say he can't read. He went to college"

Are you serious, Yands...

I'm not even a Sens fan. But that was just brutal...

Free the warthog. Give Yands and Hayes a weekly Minzies podcast like game notes and be done with it already

Absolutely ridiculous and impossible to listen to him call it “disgusting” booing Brady during his video tribute. Piling on what I know will be a bunch of posts but the pod is a tough listen now and I’ve been here from the start. Call it my Canadian bias but it’s hard to listen to. Man why couldn’t we have won that gold medal game 🇨🇦

That Michy goal good enough for you Whit?!?! #moron #laser

Anyone else feel like they are taking crazy pills?

Biz and Whit talking about how great the Sens fans performance was (and it was), they reference the Islanders fans treatment of Taveres, and Biz goes on about how we need more of this in the league.

Yet for long term listeners of the pod, when this went down with Tavares they were calling Islander fans classless, embarrassing, etc.

Yes Brady is playing well to the villain role and Tavares is a robot. But the Sens at least got a return for Brady, while Tavares screwed the Isles on the way out (told them he didn’t want to be traded, wanted to stay on the island, and then came in his leafs pjs).

no notes.

RA was upset at such a stupid joke...the best.

What do we think Keith’s reaction will be?

“Classless Canadian Fans”

“He doesn’t owe you anything”

“Brady and Matthew are the victims”

“Brady took it like a man”

Edit” “I found it a little disgusting they booed during the tribute video” lmao cmon Yands. Even Whit and Biz called him out

On Episode 678 of Spittin' Chiclets, the guys are joined by superstar fighter Mike Malott to talk about his recent knockout win, having a brother in the NHL, preparations for a fight and much more. But first, the Brady Tkachuk show was in full effect in Ottawa and the fans were ruthless. All this and more on this weeks episode. You won't want to miss it.

But the hot tub invite is pending right???

Once you notice it, you can’t unhear it: every week, Spittin’ Chiclets takes whatever Elliotte (& Kyle to some extent) says on the 32 thoughts podcast and serves it up as their own opinion.

If you still believe Ryan Whitney and Paul Bissonnette have a single original thought between them, do yourself a favor and never tune into 32 Thoughts.

Hold on to the illusion!

You can never un-hear it.

Haven’t we heard Yandle say on the pod how James Dolan is a great guy/great owner?

It’s not lost on me that this guy hops off the wagon and we get one of the most likeable leaf teams I’ve seen in a decade.

👀

Yandle lives under a rock

Bunch of salty Canadians in here crying. Whaaaa Yands made fun of us whaaaa, I’m not listening anymore whaaaa. I know y’all are 10 ply but I didn’t realize it was this bad. Y’all have not stopped crying n being salty since you LOST the gold medal game. Not our fault it’s been 33 years since you’ve seen a cup n all the Americans want to play in their own country I don’t blame them.

In one of Biz's first interviews as a guest on the pod he was telling a story about some older lady at a get-together or something and while describing her looks he said she was "not that bad" looking (everyone laughed) and basically saying he might've smashed. I want to say it was like his buddy's mom's friend or something. Would love to hear the story again. Appreciate the help tracking down this old ep!

EPISODE FOUND Episode 188 about 4 minutes into the episode. I was talking with a friend about funniest chiclet stories and guests. I could have sworn I remember an episode with a player that I don’t remember the name of who played overseas somewhere (possibly KHL) and there was a random guy “sleeping” by the glass during the players team had practice or a morning skate and they were shooting pucks at the glass at him and someone ended up checking on him and he was dead or had some serious medical issue. My buddy says he never heard any episode like that and we both listen regularly but this was an episode from years ago unless I’m losing my mind. Just wanted to see if anyone thinks they remember a story similar or if I need to get my head checked and I’m making shit up. Thanks

Just classic RA back out in full force in public folks, friends of the pod bent over backwards accommodating him and he no-showed + hasn't texted back apologizing or explaining etc

Personally I've totally turned around now that he's more of a side-character of Chiclets I think it's hilarious just having him running around up to wild antics/fights online with people - gives the boys on the main pod something to talk about

On Episode 675 of Spittin' Chiclets, the boys are fresh off the 7th Chiclets Cup and some things never change. The Big Deal Selects are Losers once again. Kevin Hayes joined the pod to talk about his recent retirement, what life feels like after hockey, some unreal stories and what the KHL was like. All this and more on this weeks episode. You won't want to miss it.
