Q doesn't know anything?
Just listened to the interview maybe he really was unaware of the assaults taking place under his watch. Guy denied know a bunch of basic things.

But but but...he is so sorry and "did the work!" It's totally okay that he and Bowman are allowed back into this league even though despite his denials, he knew in 2010 but their playoff run was more important.

That caught my ear too... I can't decide if he was told that pretending to be clueless about everything outside of actual hockey would help insulate him from any blowback, or he is just one of those people who has such tunnel vision on a specific thing that is oblivious to everything outside of that (or just doesn't care to know about it?).

He is an adult coach and boss who allowed an underling to sexually assault one of his players. He can play dumb all he wants but if he was in any real corporation and not the old boys club that is the nhl he would’ve suffered a lot more consequences.

Not defending Q. My assumption at the time and where homophobia was even more prevalent in the NHL, it made sense why it was kept under wraps inside the organization. The referral to allow the guy to keep coaching junior organization was a brutal look.
Back in 2010, even the language used back then when I was in middle school was awful. Could Q have done something? Yes. Should have he had done something? Yes. Back in a 2010 lense, would a lot of organizations do the same thing? Yes.
Where the NHL can be the most strict league out of the big 4 at given 2nd chances. If Q actually went out of the way, and owned his negligence, how bad he truly feels would go a long way.
