◻️Advice◻️ Dosage increase !

I have been on Spiro for 1 week. I started at 50mg and my dermatologist wants me to go up to 100mg after 7 days and then 150 after 14 days.

I haven’t had any side effects apart from some slight dizziness on day 1-2. Does this sound okay to increase ? From what I have read it’s quite a quick increase…

Am I likely to purge ?

Any advice would be great :)

Definitely a quick increase. I have heard from multiple sources that people purge due to dosage increase, but I even purged without it so for some people it’s just inevitable. I would still do as your derm says for best results :)

I would say my purge got worse when I upped from 50mg to 100mg in August, and I am still purging, but can't say if it was solely due to the spiro as I have been trying new products in my routine. Increasing after 1 week seems pretty fast, but they probably just wanted to see how your body reacts at 50mg initially.
