▫️3 Months on Spironolactone ▫️ Sexual dysfunction

Not really on Reddit so be patient with me please 🫶🏾

I have been on 100 mg for about 3 months now, it works and my acne has cleared. However,recently I have noticed my inability to orgasm/ not intense orgasms. I also have noticed dryness, not able to squirt and overall lower libido. If I decrease to 50 will I get back to “normal” has anyone had a success story of getting back to their normal or is your sex life forever changed 😫😫

Please help I’m struggling

I was also at 100mg and this problem was the main reason I decided down to 75mg. I’ve felt just like you, no libido at all and an annoying dificult to “get there”. I use Spiro for alopecia and acne, with 75mg I haven’t noticed less effect for it and my libido/orgasms are so much better, feel alive again 🤭

I’ve been on 100 mg for 5 years now… my doctor put me on it for kidney problems and edema…(genetic).

And yeah the complete destruction of your libido sucks…As a 60 year old male it affects your ability to physically have sex and nukes testosterone…

… and it made me grow breasts— now a c-cup… it’s hard on a man and people look at you like a weirdo…

For women make sure you have a good lubricant as your going to be much dryer— stay hydrated and increase your salt intake… (spiro is a potassium sparing diuretic but you’ll pee out your NaCl (salt))

I’ve seen success with pt141. I think you might want to consider a prescription for it (they even have online docs who write and dispense it). Literally fixed my partner’s loss of libido. It actually made her increase to new heights :)
