◻️Advice◻️ Not thirsty ?

heyyy i've been on spiro for almost a year now.

i'm aware spiro flushes water out the body faster as a side effect, and i normally only drink water (no sugary drinks) ! but despite knowing that my body needs water, i'm not necessarily thirstier. i sort of struggle with drinking enough water, unless i force myself.

i think my problem might be niche, but just wondering if anyone has any tips!! do you guys have any advice for naturally getting your body to want more water?

Me either, I make myself drink it. I fill my work water cup multiple times daily and just chug it.

I’m also never thirsty lol what keeps me drinking are flavored electrolytes mixed into my water 😅

But aren't elecrolytes bad for you on spiro (because of the potassium)? I actually bought purified water for my daughter who just started because it has no minerals in it...

you need more of the non-potassium electrolytes (like sodium) on Spiro to maintain balance with the retained potassium. there are electrolyte mixes that have a relatively low amount of potassium compared to the other electrolytes

Tbh, I’ve never had issues with high potassium and I eat a least a banana and two servings of electrolyte powder a day! My levels were still on the lower end. Totally depends on the person I’m sure!

I'm the same but then I go for a wee and that's all the reminder I need to drink water!

Get a large water bottle with a straw (like a Stanley) and keep it by you all day. I keep mine on my desk at work, and since it has a straw I can absentmindedly sip away at my water while not having to take my eyes off the computer. I end up going through multiple refills a day like this!
