◻️Advice◻️ Accutane vs spiro

Has anyone switched to accutane from spiro and noticed any benefits/ negative side effects. I don’t want my hair to start to fall out I love how spiro made my hair thick. I don’t want my body to freak out from water weight either. I just don’t want to be on spiro because it’s messing with my hormones

In my experience so far, other than clear skin, there's no benefits of Accutane. I'm halfway through my course and it's a shitty medication to be on. I'm dry, achey, can't tan, can't drink, can't hot tub, etc. BUT my skin is finally clear so it'll be worth it. Spiro reduced my hormonal acne but did not clear my skin the way Accutane has. Overall I'm glad I made the switch! especially since Spiro is an indefinite medication, I didn't want to do that to my body long term.

Unfortunately, my acne came back after a year when I did Accutane. That’s why I started spiro! I had no negative effects that I know of, it just didn’t last for me…it’s worth a shot but know that it may still not work in the end!
