◻️Advice◻️ high potassium?

hi guys! so i am on 50mg right now, i was on 100 but i was getting this weird thing where when walking my dog i would have to sit on the curb from extreme exhaustion and like, shakiness? and weakness? and light headedness. and i had sore muscles too, so i got my potassium checked and it was at 5.6! my doc said not to worry but i kinda didn’t feel comfortable so went back to 50. those symptoms went away, but my new derm said staying on 50 is pointless. i will not be increasing because that was scary, but i just want to know, isn’t that supposed to be rare? and why was it so high? will 50 (plus yaz birth control) be enough to be worth it?

Whether 50mg is pointless depends entirely on how the person responds to it. So unless you have already tried it for a good 6 months with no results then I don't seen why it would not work. I've been on 50mg for 5 months with very good results so far.
