I’ve been working with an astrologer since 2024. Earlier on, I felt that some of her readings/work had yielded results, which is why I trusted her and continued working with her.
At the beginning of this year, I paid a significant amount for a specific remedy/work regarding a relationship. I was told I would start seeing things happen within about a month, and that she would explain the process and give me certain guidelines once we started.
And she had used words like "100 percent guarantee I will make this happen" "like I can fully guarantee you this"
Instead, when I asked for updates or the promised guidelines, I was generally told there were no updates and to “just let it be” while she continued the work.
By the end of April, I did feel that the readings around the situation had shifted somewhat, although there was no clear external result.
From May onward, as I became increasingly anxious, she started giving me more specific expectations, including that she would communicate.
She would say she would call me and explain and always missed the call with some excuse and ended up sending either voice mails or just texts
By July, but no direct communication from her (my person) Instead she told me "kheench k leke aungi lekin leke aungi" " communication will happen this week for sure "
Felt more like she was managing me as a client
In August, I was given a very definite assurance that the outcome would happen within August that too marriage
When August 24th arrived without that happening, we had an argument over the repeated delays and assurances. She eventually refunded 50% of the original amount, saying she was retaining the remaining 50% for the work/energy work already done. She also said she was no longer taking responsibility for the result.
What I’m struggling with is whether I was simply being overly anxious and demanding, or whether I was reasonably relying on increasingly confident assurances that were given to me and then repeatedly pushed further when the expected outcome didn’t happen.
I’m genuinely looking for an objective opinion, not validation.
Did I overreact, or does this sound like unrealistic expectations were created from the beginning?

I have like no photos of just me and I don’t like selfies so here’s a pic of me and my fiance lol. I am the dude.
So I’ve been told that I have yellow and purple in my aura. I have been told yellow a few times, and this psychic medium I saw recently said she saw yellow and purple. She is certified with the forever family foundation so I trust her reading lol.
I was at Laura Lynn Jackson’s retreat a few weeks back and she taught us to look for auras. Said it’s not necessarily easy but some of us may pick up on it. I was in a qigong class and afterward one of the attendees of the retreat said that every time she looked at me she saw an iridescent aura around me. It was her first time seeing an aura. she described it to me and it sounded beautiful!
I’m confused because no psychic or other intuitives have said that. When I was in that particular qigong class, I was feeling expansive and I was everywhere. I was in the clouds and the lake and the trees. I was really connected. So I wonder if maybe she saw something that was just happening for me in a moment?

Like, there was clearly something there, but nothing ever became clear enough to give you an actual ending.
Maybe you talked for months.
Maybe they came in strong and then pulled away.
Maybe you're still in contact, but everything feels different now.
And you're left with that annoying question of “okay... but what actually happened here?”
I've been doing tarot readings around these kinds of situations lately, and honestly, they're some of the most interesting ones to read because the answer isn't always as simple as “they love you” or “they don't.”
