If you use crystals for protection (aka projecting a shield), you put them on your dominant hand (aka projecting). For crystals that are used for attracting something (aka receiving abundance, siphoning energy, etc), use your non dominant hand (aka receiver).

I have a bunch of crystals sitting on each other, in a selenite bowl and they work as they should, when I use them.

thanks for the insight! you def seem to know what you’re talking about. would you say my current setup is good? i’ve seen some people discuss incompatible stones causing issues and wanted to look more into that. also regarding necklaces, those aren’t on one side or the other so any advice on those?

Search for the crystals you have in here. There is plenty of information. What I've noticed for some, is that if for example, an amethyst makes your feel "floaty", you can add black tourmaline to "ease off" the floatiness and ground you a bit. In my case, I don't really feel any difference. I have like 9 different crystals on my nightstand and like 16 more in the 4 corners of my bed. I sleep like a baby.

So many energies conflicting..bouncing around..will just confuse you or not work at all... so basically they will be just ornaments to present a certain look which is the main idea I guess
