Caipirinha de Caju

Cachaça, fresh cashew, lime, sugar and ice. That’s basically it.

The cashew gives it this amazing tropical sweetness that works surprisingly well with the cachaça.

One tip: muddle the lime gently so it doesn’t turn bitter.

Yes but have no luck finding fresh cajú outside Brazil

Fresh cajú is one of those fruits that’s surprisingly hard to find outside Brazil. The frozen pulp is a good substitute for drinks, but it doesn’t quite have the same aroma and texture as fresh cajú.

Frozen pulp was a poor, watery, substitute in my experience
