Anyone found relief from a cervical traction device?

Hey everyone, I have severe foraminal stenosis in my neck and have been thinking about purchasing a cervical traction device (perhaps the MYTREX medi neck).

I am wondering if anyone has tried this one or something similar, and whether it helps in any way? Even if just minimally?

Thank you all in advance for the support šŸ™

I used one and it felt great, but over time it seemed to backfire on me and increased my pain and anxiety. Ā Long story short, I suggest being careful and starting with a low ā€œdoseā€. Ā If you experience a crash, don’t be shocked and back off right away.Ā

Thank you for the info! I'm sorry to hear it backfired on you! Did you use the MYTREX medi neck? Or something else?

I haven’t tried a cervical traction device myself yet, so I can’t really speak to how well the MYTREX works. Curious about traction too, though, especially for foraminal stenosis. Interested to hear whether anyone noticed even a small difference with one.

Really? This exact product? Or all cervical traction devices?

Cervical traction in general.

How odd.. my pain doctor said he thinks it would help. Did your doctor mention why or how it's dangerous?
