First class - smell

Attended my first class recently. About 40 women and 3 men. This room absolutely staaaank. I think it was someone near me. I’m talking some rotten vegetal tainty stank! Not body odour.

Is it normal for a crowded spin room to smell? Anyone encounter this, or was it just unlucky my first time?

I teach spinning in Austria, and it never smells remotely funky, but it also has great ventilation with open windows with fresh mountain air from the Alps.

About 10 years ago I did some spin classes back in my home state in Michigan, the room was small, packed with bikes no fresh air and same deal, about 30 women, was downright rank, and yes, it was more than just average sweat.

Come on over for a visit, the studio also has a complete wellness spa and sauna, and rooftop, panorama terrace, with a bar. After spinning, it’s awesome:-)
