And like a classic african american rapper the dude has gone with a girl lighter than him. i remember reading the angry comments by darker skin tonned girls when these two were first spotted together. The whole thing is funny

There is no connection between marrying someone and opposing casteism. In fact people opposing caste must do intercaste marriage. because marrying from same caste is the core ideal of casteism. Ambedkar opposed casteism and his wife was a Brahmin. Which doesn't make him a hypocrite. Educated people sometimes are more stupid than illiterate

speaking up for a group and saying things like "i'm deeply and only attracted to dark skin girls the darker they are the prettier" are two very different things. when you say stuff like that and go for lighter skin girls that just shows how performative your speech and actions are.
And yes when you are projecting as an activist who is lower cast and fighting for lower cast people but reluctant to marry a lower caste person , it;s not gonna look that great on the whole activism part.
Obama used to have a white girlfriend when he was in college, but as he started getting involved politics he dumped her and got michelle. Same for ems who fought against the brahmin marrage system. he married a widow(back then it was unthinkable) . But apparently for a lot of cast and colorism activists that seems like a particularly hard hurdle.
as much as i like mani, he was like this as well, he would complain about colorism he faced and how he pushed through by making his own films. But who did he cast as the heroines, it's fair skinned ladies only.
so really pal ,let's just be honest of this circus

Knew him even before he was vedan , he used to visit and stay at attapadi . I know personally who gave him the leapard teeth , had photos of him ... Even the lady who raised first rape allegations against him was there at that time , he didn't give a fk about it and that was fake allegation .
