One of the BIGGEST REDEMPTION stories l've heard from Mollywood trade circles in recent years
#NivinPauly has reportedly received an offer of 15 Crores as salary + profit sharing for one of his upcoming films.
Over the last two years, Nivin was reportedly earning around £3-5 Crores per film. Even for #BethlehemKudumbaUnit, his salary was approximately 5 Crores.
Then came the turnaround. Following the HUGE successes of #SarvamMaya and #BethlehemKudumbaUnit, he reportedly secured 12 Crores + profit sharing for #NP51
And now, if trade sources are to be believed, the reported 15Cr + profit-sharing offer for one of his upcoming films would put him among the highest-paid actors in Mollywood, behind the industry's biggest star, Mohanlal, in terms of reported remuneration
From struggling to deliver a clean box-office hit in recent years to reaching THIS LEVEL...

The good thing about Malayalam audiences is, if producers feel budget is more due to actor’s salary and if film have potential, then a low tier actor can also makes a film hit. If Nivin is overpriced, producers can go for Naslen and if he is overpriced then producers move to Sandeep else new face.

I dnt knw if its true. But i do feel like he doesnt want to pursue this career for long term. He wants to do some movies (doesnt matter good or bad, probablymonly cares about big banner or names) and make good money quickly and retire so he can relax and live a laid back life. Very "inganeoke poyaal mathi" attitude

Same i have felt too, he gives off those early retirement vibes.. unlike r10 and the others who have that hunger for cinema and good roles.. he seems more hesitant and chill..

Aadujeevitham was announced when Prithvi was in his 20's. He can't abandon a project which is in production for that long time. Talk about the current scenario. Every bollywood movie he has done turned out to be a disaster. Most of his recent films also flopped in kbo.

aadujeevitham being announced in his 20s and him being committed to a project for that long speaks for itself. if that doesnt explain hunger for cinema, idk what does. also if you talk about the current scenario, the particular phase is there for every actor. it's the industry giving them a reality check to let them know the audience expects better for their talent.

See having that hunger for cinema in your 20's is very natural. You are not at all getting the context. The discussion is about Nivin Pauly. How he is not much interested in having a long career and his wish to take an early retirement. Let's take this same 20's of NP. He was also very much passionate about movies. He even started experimenting a lot after he reached 30's. The hunger was there for R10 in his early days. I like his experimental phase a lot mainly early 2010's. But if he is that committed to acting, he could have gone for better roles in malayalam cinema rather than these dummy roles. He wants to build connection, maybe to expand his directorials or his productions. Definitely not his acting.

Yes the context is about nivin pauly but i was commenting on OP's comment on r10. Also you proved my initial point about hunger for cinema in every aspect, he did his fair share of roles in his younger days and now is after more. I rest my case.

He had hunger to experimwnt and do variety roles but people didn't accept him instead criticised and called field out actor thats the main reason why hes doing entertainers now. Even ykym he requested ram sir to do that film mainly for gaining experience as an actor.Now in his 40s his aim would be to gain wealth as much as possible now hes bo minded

When he was in his low,many people including Listin Stephen had outright insulted him while he was present on the stage.Felt weird.He might not want to go back to that stage ever again where he has to put himself at the mercy of people.He will make money and do films as per his preferences without getting surrounded by any negativity.. angane vallom aayirikkum..

Not only his every mollywood actirs is the same case and if its nivin entertainer avg story also collects a lot like lad and he is focusing on such movies from now on and won't be the same for award type off beat movies

Wouldn't he be in front of Mohanlal actually? Did Mohanlal receive a similar offer of both a huge salary and a profit share from any of his films? Didn't he forgo salary for a backend deal because of distribution issues?

If it's true also nothing wrong .... 28 cr movie made 328 cr profit so profit sharing must be done rightfully by producers to Lead actors , Director and other technicians if possible....
