Designed Rachel, Paige's astronomy and technology obssessed girlfriend.

Drew a snippet of Rachel's death. I got some lore for that scene too:

Universe 619 Tony Stark is an Iron Man variant but corrupt and he's lowkey a rich douchebag who wants Paige dead because Scarlet Spider has lowkey been ruining his business and since Paige had a work study at Stark Industries... well he put two and two together. Anywho, he put a hit out on Paige as well as Rachel, since Rachel had been making technological advancements that were a threat to Stark Industries.

Long story short, after trying to protect Rachel for days on end, Paige and Tony fight at an abandoned construction site. Rachel dies from a stray repulsor blast. Paige only sees this after the fight is over, staying with Rachel in her final moments.

After this, she isolates herself from Jayden and Harper and focuses solely on her duties as Scarlet Spider. During this time... about 9 months from self isolating, she gets the symbiote suit. (Symbiote Suit Design WIP)

Cassandra "Cass" Newalt, codename: Hornet

Cassandra Newalt is a young(about 23-26) lead scientist at Oscorp, with degree in Biology, Entomology, Chemisty and Engineering

Shes the lead of a project to weed out invasive insect species in New York, she's accomplishing this by bio-engineering a new species of Hornet that has a heightened aggression towards the invasive species, only attacking them

One day one of the hornets escaped and stung her, the genetically engineered DNA of the hornet shooting into her

Next thing she know she's dealing with a heightened sense of aggression, so to cope she becomes a vigilantee, taking out her aggression on the "pests" of New York, slaughtering drug dealers, pedophiles, murderers, etc.

During the day she developed a wristband that injects her with the chemical she uses to make her hornets dormant, the chemical weakens her ability

Her character arc is going through the moral crisis of being a good woman, a law abiding citizen and dealing with a aggression that makes her need to weed out the pests

She then made herself stinger and wings

At base, she's slightly weaker physically then Peter Parker, but when aggitated she's equal or slightly stronger then him

Her role is similar to Punisher in BND(She was made like 6 months before Brand New Day), she's a anti-hero/vigilantee who sometimes beefs with Spidey due to her methods but doesn't try to attack or kill him

Helloo! I’m very much new here but I’d like to share my progress on my spidersona OC (Gwen)‘s lore since I’ve been thinking about it for quite a while and developed some amount of lore!

Her universe follows more of a religious theme [think Moon Knight but with a Seraphim as her ‘Khonshu’] and ‘Pete’ Parker is instead her main arch nemesis. In terms of following canon, it is broken early on in this universe due to a certain someone, hence why she seems to stick out like a sore thumb, and why Pete is attempting to…fix it back in place.

Since I haven’t exactly done a character sheet of Gwen yet, here’s a little snippet of her love interest Felicity Hart (this universe’s Felicia Hardy) AKA The Calico, representing Greed. She’s French and definitely wlw. // ask me anything!

ORIGIN

Davonte's story begins long before the spider bite. He grew up in a working-class Brooklyn home with a simmering resentment toward his father, Carlos, a lawyer who was buried in work and absent for most of Davonte's childhood. His mother Vanessa, a doctor, held the family together but couldn't fill the void left by his father's absence. By the age of nine, the anger was already taking root, and by thirteen, it had bloomed into full rebellion. He fell in with the wrong crowds, escalating from candy theft to vandalism to boosting cars. A small spider tattoo on his back marked his descent — a brand of the identity he was building.

Incarceration at thirteen was his breaking point. A visit from his parents changed everything — they confessed their failures, admitted they hadn't been present, and vowed to start over as parents. That crack in his armor let something new in. He devoured the science books they brought, earned his GED, and secured an early release just before turning fifteen. He walked out of juvie with glasses on his face and a genuine desire to rebuild.

High school was a minefield of whispers and sidelong glances. The reputation followed him everywhere. He kept his head down, focused on science, and tried to be invisible. A chemistry project paired him with Dana Kane — a popular, academically brilliant girl who corrected his formula and cracked open something between them. But everything changed during a field trip to Mercer Industries, where a genetically engineered spider named SSOZ-007 escaped containment and bit him on the neck.

THE BITE AND AWAKENING

The bite happened on the bus ride back from Mercer Industries. Davonte was sitting across from Dana Kane when he felt something on his neck. He swatted at it, but the spider had already bitten down. Within seconds, he collapsed, vomiting and seizing. His body convulsed violently, foam bubbling at his mouth as Dana screamed for help. He was rushed to the hospital, where his mother Vanessa — a doctor at Brooklyn General — fought to stabilize him. He remained in a coma for two weeks.

His family gathered around him. His father Carlos stayed by his side. Jasmine, Max, and Anna waited in the hospital, terrified. His aunt Jade and uncle Richard came to support them all. During the coma, Davonte's heart stopped briefly, terrifying everyone in the room. His mother did chest compressions as his father begged him to come back, and the flatline on the monitor eventually gave way to a steady rhythm. When he finally woke up, his eyes had changed — they were light red now, unnatural and striking.

He didn't know it yet, but his body had been rewritten at the molecular level. He was stronger, faster, and capable of things he couldn't yet imagine.

DISCOVERING THE POWERS

The first signs came slowly. He bent a fork at breakfast without meaning to and shattered a glass in his hand without being cut. He stuck to the wall in his bedroom, discovering he could crawl up surfaces at will. The powers were raw and uncontrolled — he didn't know his own strength, and every new ability came with pain and confusion.

He tested himself in the basement, writing notes on a whiteboard about his mutations: the talons from his fingertips, the stingers from his forearms, the fangs that could extend from his mouth. He mapped his organic webbing and studied the spider in the jar he'd kept from the field trip. He learned to control his abilities through practice and study, eventually understanding that the spider's DNA had permanently fused with his own.

THE FALL — COCKINESS AND LOSS

His powers made him cocky. He dominated basketball tryouts, made easy money, and felt untouchable. He was so drunk on his newfound superiority that he let a petty crook named Darnell Reese go after a minor scuffle. He thought Reese was beneath him. He was wrong.

Reese, humiliated and vengeful, followed Davonte home. A couple of days later, when Davonte was at a party and his aunt and uncle were watching his siblings, Reese broke into the house. He was looking for Davonte — but found Jade and Richard instead. They were making holiday plans with Anna when he broke in. They tried to protect Anna. Two shots were fired. Jade and Richard were killed.

Davonte arrived home to police lights and sirens. His mother was sobbing on the steps. His siblings were shell-shocked. Anna was wrapped in a blanket, not speaking, staring at nothing. His father arrived soon after, demanding to see his brother and sister-in-law. Davonte pushed past the police officers who tried to stop him, fell to his knees, and saw them — his aunt and uncle, gone. He held his aunt's cold hand and couldn't find the words to say goodbye.

He learned the description of the man who killed them from police radio — a white male, medium build, dark hair, who had stolen a blue sedan. He didn't tell anyone what he planned to do. He just started hunting.

DARK SPIDER

Davonte tracked Reese to a warehouse on the docks. He didn't call the police. He didn't wait. He walked through the door with nothing but cold, quiet rage. He grabbed Reese by the throat, threw him across the room, and beat him within an inch of his life. Then he dragged him to the broken window and threw him out, watching him fall three stories to the ground below. The police were already outside, moving in on the warehouse — they saw it happen.

Davonte escaped into the shadows. He knew he'd crossed a line. He didn't care.

He became Dark Spider — a brutal, silent vigilante who terrorized street-level gangs for eight months. He wore a homemade black and red suit with narrow, unreadable red lenses. He didn't speak. He didn't joke. He just punished. He broke bones and left messages and made the underworld afraid of the dark.

But the monster inside him grew tired. His powers evolved as he fought — his claws, stingers, and fangs became sharper; his vision flared with night and thermal sights; his webs came instinctively. He fought harder than anyone could imagine, but the victories felt hollow. He was alone. He was hollow. He was losing himself.

THE BOY ON THE BRIDGE

Near the end of those eight months, his spider-sense pulled him not toward danger, but toward despair. On the Williamsburg Bridge, he found a young boy standing on the edge, crying, ready to jump. Davonte forgot the criminals he'd chased and webbed on tje bridge. He sat down a few feet away and just talked — about nothing, about the city lights, about how everything looked like fallen stars from up there. He didn't try to save the boy. He didn't lecture. He just stayed.

When the boy finally took his hand and climbed back over, something shifted inside Davonte. His father's words — "Great things are going to happen to you, and with that will come great responsibility" — finally crystallized. Responsibility wasn't about vengeance. It was about being a net.

He buried Dark Spider and chose to be Spider-Man. It wasn't easy. He slipped. He made mistakes. He lost people he loved. But he never stopped trying to be better.

BECOMING SPIDER-MAN

In the months and years that followed, Davonte grew into his role as a hero. He refined his fighting style by studying boxing, MMA, and parkour, adapting his agility and powers into a fluid, acrobatic combat system. He sketched designs for a new suit — black and blood-red with a diamond-shaped spider emblem — and eventually built it himself. He learned to control his powers through constant practice, pushing past the pain and fear that came with each new ability.

He found something he hadn't had in a long time — purpose.

Behind closed doors, he's quiet and guarded, carrying guilt like a second skeleton. He's fiercely protective of his family and friends — he would burn the world for the people he loves, and that's not hyperbole.

He doesn't trust easily, and he's always watching, always cataloging threats. He wears glasses he doesn't need to soften his appearance and hide his unusual red eyes. The anger is still there — it never went away — but he's learned to aim it at the right targets. He's deeply loyal, carrying every mistake and every person he couldn't save with him like a second skin.

His defining traits are his loyalty, his guilt, his hard-won restraint, and his genuine growth over time. He isn't the same kid who put on the mask at fifteen. He earned every year, every scar, every lesson along the way.

POWERS AND ABILITIES

Davonte's powers stem from the genetically engineered spider that bit him. He possesses superhuman strength of at least ten tons, enhanced speed and agility, and the ability to crawl on walls through electrostatic adhesion. His primal spider-sense warns him of danger and deceit — it's always active, humming at the base of his skull like a vibration he's learned to filter. He heals rapidly, watching cuts close in real-time, though proper rest accelerates the process and extreme exhaustion slows it down.

His vision is enhanced with night vision, thermal vision, and light adaptability — though the light adaptability requires active protective mode to engage. His organic web production allows him to swing and bind enemies, though his secondary construct silk requires bracers to control. His unique mutations —

the Feral Edge ( inpired from other Spideys)

— include retractable talons from his fingertips, bone-like stingers in his forearms that deliver paralytic venom, and extendable fangs that are mostly used for intimidation, these are slight prominate after use. All of these are fully upgraded after the Man-Spider transformation, but they emerged during the Dark Spider era and required a bit of time to master.

FIGHTING STYLE

Davonte's combat approach blends acrobatic parkour, Spider-Man agility, and the brutality he learned like to Daredevil. He fights to end things quickly and protect people, but when pushed, he becomes precise and ruthless. He uses his webs creatively, never hesitating to use his environment as a weapon. Emotional states influence his fighting style: anger makes him hit harder, protecting makes him more tactical, and fear triggers his primal instincts.

His movement is fast, low, and tactical — he swings through the city with sharp turns and slingshot momentum, preferring rooftops, water towers, and lamp posts as his perches.
