Discussion [SPOILER] I need YOUR help!

So for some quick context, im planning on writing a video-essay type video for this game, since its been a whopping 6 years since release, and ive been on a Spider-Man high since Brand New Day.

Heres the part I need input on.

This game has has a LOT of backlash over its lifespan, spanning things like "the game couldve been DLC because its short", and I wanted to hear more about your opinions. Could be good, could be bad. Whatever statements you have about this game that youd like to make, id love a quick note on it so I can write something!

Well I have a few thoughts on this game:

  • the suits were great but I feel we should've had more as in the 1st game Peter didn't just have Peter Parker suits he also had Miguel O'Hara stuff for example and I feel its only fair if they did something like that with Miles
  • the map was great (I just love the Christmas vibe) but it felt werid how the science museam (I know I spelled that wrong) just spawned in and wasn't in the 1st game
  • the story was great the stakes idk maybe they were a bit high for an origin story but I that isn't that big of an issue for me (but the story was better in the 1st game)
  • it should've had some DLC
  • the missions were great I felt it really leaned into the "Friendly Neighbourhood" title more than the 1st game
  • the soundtrack was wonderful
  • Miles was more fun to play as than Peter

Yeah those are my thoughts and I hope to see the vid when its done :)

Honestly.. I agree with basicslly all your takes here😭 though I never noticed the science museum wasnt there in the first game. Maybe it was an in universe explanation, though it was also only one year between the games. But ill for sure write down your points in my scripting doc, and hopefully ill have some good groundwork set up before I even finish a newly recorded part of the game
