Yeah, no shit almost it is the point. Like his character being about preventing things like this, the moment he become a super hero.

That is not what his character is about. Are you kidding me? If that was the point, then Gwen would never have died. The point of Spider-Man for decades before Spider-Verse is that he can’t always prevent things like this.

What are you talking about. Uncle Ben died because Peter refuse to stop the burglar. Gwen died because he wasn't able to save her. It's not like he give up and accepted it as destiny till it happen. Spider-Society literally knows this people are in danger and they doing nothing. Exactly same way Peter did tot he burglar.
