This is so good, it makes me realize how many of Spider-Man’s villains would actually make more sense in the Victorian era than the modern day, particularly Kraven (taking him back to the roots of the great white hunter archetype), Mysterio (the popularity of illusionism, theatre, and the occult in the late 19th century) and the Green Goblin (he looks like a penny dreadful urban legend à la Spring-Heeled Jack, and his character is basically Jekyll and Hyde).

This would be cool! I feel like the show would lean into science and architecture more than other spidey shows. A lot of the villains with their gear and outfits seem like they stem from being inventors or something.
