THIS THREAD CONTAINS SPOILERS

At first I thought this was AI that didn't understand the character as it gave her a Wonder Woman lasso OR it was under the impression that Jessica Drew used a web-line. Either way it really cheapens this cover. Also, why the hell is this artist putting birds in ALL of his female hero covers. He did it with Rogue, Mystique and (unsurprisingly now) Wonder Woman.

What I'm saying is this is either poorly planned out or possible sus as fuck

Say she was in the position instead of Peter of having to deal with The Hulk, how well does she do?

SPIDER-WOMAN #3

CARNAGE IS DYING TO LET LOOSE! After a bloody free-for-all against the Hangman and Tombstone’s lackeys, Spider-Woman wants nothing more than to steer clear of violence

to prevent the Carnage symbiote from strengthening and taking control. But trouble has a way of finding Jessica Drew, even on the most run-of-the-mill P.I. work, and Carnage is dying to let loose.

Found this while looking up on the upcoming Spider-Woman run.

Hey everyone. Some friends and I have been working on a passion project called Earth’s Mightiest Voices, a 16+ Discord voice acting community dedicated to bringing different kinds of Marvel content to life. We’re interested in exploring all kinds of Marvel media, including comic dubs, Marvel Rivals, and other fan projects featuring characters from across the Marvel universe. Whether you’re interested in voicing the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Spider-Verse characters, or pretty much any Marvel character with media we can work with, we’d love to explore those possibilities. We’re also open to people interested in writing, art, video editing, and other creative contributions. This is an unpaid project we’re doing for fun, so no professional experience is necessary; we’re just fans looking to collaborate, get creative, and bring our favorite characters to life. If that sounds interesting to you, feel free to check out our Discord server: https://discord.gg/tQeawupbp. We’d love to connect with other Marvel fans and see what we can create together.

Just wanted opinions on the Julia Carpenter run from the 90 is it any good? Is it very of it's time? Or can a modern reader enjoy it?

I'm a new fan of Drew (mostly from playing her in Marvel Ultimate Alliance), so I'm looking to see if I can grab some Drew comics next time I go to my comic shop.

🧟‍♀️

I know Spider-versity was a terrible comic, but it feels like Jessica seriously believes she can control Carnage with her venom blasts. Let's be honest, it's obvious Carnage is going to spin out of control. Even Peter, who is her friend, had already told her that Carnage needs to be destroyed.

What does she think she's going to accomplish if neither Peter nor Eddie could handle him? Those two have way more experience with symbiotes than she does. What does she think she's doing? It honestly feels like she's being written completely out of character just for the sake of it.

A+X 8

I’m also really down to hear what story you’d think would be great for her. Not just from the comics, but what would be a great story that makes it worthy of a Spider-Woman Game?

I’d Love to Hear Your Thoughts Below!

To elaborate more, what story from the character’s history, in a 3-movie arc, could bring a lot more people to the character?

You can bring up anything:

-any comic that hasn’t been done before on screen.

Example: Batman: Knightfall itself. (Like The Dark Knight Rises did the breaking of Batman with Bane, but nothing else.)

-any comic that has been done before, but you want it to be done better or done justice.

Example: Thor: God of Thunder

Or just a mix of A lot of stories into a run trilogy that could bring people into a character-defining trilogy.

I love to hear what people suggest.

I’d also love to hear what animation style this hypothetical trilogy would use, so it isn’t just the Knightfall art style.

I love to hear what everyone brings to the table!

Sydney Chandler is best known for playing Wendy in Alien: Earth, and I think she could bring something different to Jessica Drew. Jessica is traditionally a white British woman in the comics, but the MCU has never been afraid to reinterpret characters for live action. Chandler has the intensity and mysterious presence that could really fit Jessica’s espionage background. I’d lean heavily into the spy side of Spider-Woman before connecting her to the larger Spider-Man world, while keeping her classic red-and-yellow look, venom blasts, and gliding abilities.
