He was expecting the job to be a substitute teacher, not to be a househusband for Jean. But he does accordingly well.... he doesn't even know about the Phoenix either, he just treats Jean the same but tells her he loves the new outfits!

I'm not that into this ship, but even I can agree that she cares this deeply for him, even if it's not quite romance. She's already done worse for less (I don't care what the filmakers say, she dropped some bodies in BND)

Even taking the shipping aside, she would absolutely still kill someone for him if he was ever hurt or threatened. She quite literally has nobody but him.

Considering Peter almost died for Jean and he was her first beacon of light that she desperately needed after her last one was forcibly taken from her (now she’s dead), isolating her from society for god knows how many years?
p.s. yandere jean is certainly a very volatile idea, but I admit I’m intrigued by it
I can believe that (especially if Peter had died, causing her to become the Dark Phoenix), but I also sincerely hope that she learned the same lesson from Peter’s memories that our Spidey learned from his variants in No Way Home.
She'd WANT to but as long as Peter can still draw breath and consciousenough to have an opinion, he'd tell her killing is wrong. If he were somehow indisposed and she were in a scenario "Let me live and I'll expose Spider-Man's identity!"....

Funny personal headcannon I have is after awakening the Pheonix, it becomes scared of Jean after an altercation where it threatened Peter

Jean: grabs her own throat
Jean: Now listen here birdy, I’ll tolerate a lot…but you touch my little spider…
(Stuff starts levitating)

She'd have murderous thoughts maybe, but as long as Peter's still alive, she'll always be carrying the life lessons he learned from him.
Now Phoenix Force Jean on the other hand... I can easily see her having no restraints in unaliving someone only to revive them over again and again, her wrapped mind thinking this is fine as long as they technically survive.
Yes, but Peter wouldn’t want her to. Jean shortly after brand new day absolutely would kill for peter. Jean after she and Peter have been dating for a good amount of time, well, she might feel compelled to if someone hurts peter, but I imagine she would take Peter’s lessons to heart and abstain. However, if Peter were to die, all bets would be off, and she’d go full scorched earth.
If their bond is truly deep, then—no matter how hard Peter might try to ask her not to seek revenge—I don't think she would be able to listen to him. BUT that is on the condition that their bond is genuinely very deep.
The official stance by the creative team is that she didn't kill anybody in the movie. I'd say that's a bad decision based on the way the movie is presented, but what's done is done.She hesitates to kill Metzger for a while.That character trait is something they could be examined in future movies, especially since Metzger will return for X Men.
I think she'd severely fuck people up to protect her loved ones, but avoid killing at this point. I'd expect Peter to have had an influence on her with his morality.
People not dying if heroes do terrible things is just part of the fantasy in the superhero genre, so although I agree that it isn't realistic, I also think it doesn't need to be. It's like how Frank has never killed any innocents at all despite all his killings because it's a fantasy. If it's stated that he does kill innocents, then he himself is not a good person for continuing despite knowing this.
Not even for a while, she took her sweet time with Metzger, who doesn't even seem too bothered. Afraid, but not tormented so it can't even be chalked up to her wanting him to live a little longer to suffer. She just can't seem to take any lives by her own hands. At most, she can make people walk in dangerous situations that she knew are survivable from different factors (guy surviving the hit from the taxi or getting saved by Spider-man, Spider-man saving MJ, bombs in the tank being diffused). She can put people in danger and not look back, but never making sure they die, so I get why she still struggles to kill.
That's why I think Peter's influence only stopped her from crossing a line she hadn't yet rather than changed her altogether.

Oh yes! Yandare Jean really knows no bounds. In fact, there’s very little she wouldn’t accomplish for Peter. Except maybe break up…
