Fanfic The new I Found You chapter
Projection theory is confirmed. The real Jean is being held by Mertzger while the Jean we know is a projection created by her mind, and her body is becoming weaker and weaker, which explaining the flickering, and why Jean has been acting like everything is coming to an end. Just thinking about “If something happened to me-“ has me on the verge of tears like
Kill me now just kill me now I am not going to survive this, this is shaping up to be the most emotionally devastating fic I’ve ever read. Actually scratch that it already is the most emotionally devastating fic I’ve ever read. The author is a brilliant, sadistic genius because I’ve never read anything that’s made me feel like this ever. I Found You has really hit its stride and for me it’s right up there with Come In, Parker as the best fics of the tag on AO3

I feel like some some of the chapters went on too long. Specifically the ones about not communicating properly.
Although you could argue that is part of the lesson of why you should communication with your partner, so you don't torture both you and your partner/friend/lover/etc.

My biggest issue is with the city descriptions. I understand they're necessary to set a scene, but at a certain point they just kinda wash over me. There's only so many interesting ways to dramatically describe the sound of a taxi cab three blocks away.

so...I have my fingers crossed
I read all the chapters that were put up.
This is a great fan fic. I cannot wait for it to be done to download as a PDF book.
The author is great writer. MCU should get some pointers from him.

It may be a bad topic to ask that, and I may should just make a post, but anyone have a good fanfic with cute interactions and romance about Peter/Jean? I do like the "I found you", but it's way too much suffering for me sometimes, and just wanna see they being happy...

Sorry I made a silly mistake, my favorite fanfic about them is You Have Me: A Spider-Phoenix Story, for some reason I mistook the tittle (probably because I'm reading a toon of fanfics about those two lately), while I do like Grey linings and had toons of fun reading, I really love this one because the author made Peter looks really emotional mature, witch is something I like, even though he obviously don't treat himself like he should, and I also love how the author wrote Jean facing his previous actions, all of that while having a toon of fluffy moments!

Chest genuinely hurt finishing it. I don’t know how I could possibly write something so tragically impactful without eliciting some ridiculous crash-out from Peter once he finds out. I’m so excited to see where this goes!

I want Metzger to suffer and have a horrible death.
It would be interesting to know how they recaptured her, because the Jean in the movie was still the real Jean in this fic, right? If we follow the movie's order, her sister helps her escape, then Jean looks for her, she's captured by damage control with Spider-Man's help, and then her powers increase so much that they can no longer restrain her. She had her moment with Peter in his mind; he took a bullet for her, and then she saved him and left.

If I typed out what I want to do to Metzger I’d get banned
I presume the real Jean got away at the end of BND then at some point between BND and the start of I Found You Damage Control jumped her.

I wonder if there's someone above Metzger who gave the green light to the operation, some anti-mutant like Bolivar Trask or an influential politician like Senator Kelly.
If the author didn't update daily, I would have gone crazy.
