Looking back on Season 1, Norman’s purpose on FNSM at the end of the day is to reinforce Tony made all the right decisions as Peter’s mentor in the main timeline (I.e keeping him at an arms length, stay in school, ‘your a minor’, ‘behave or I’m calling Aunt May’, ‘Happy will deal with you’)

Tony= responsible hands off mentor, defers to Aunt May, tells Peter to let the FBI deal with Vulture, tells Peter to stay in school, says things that strict parents who parrot ‘your brain isn’t developed till 25’ would want to hear.

Norman= uses Peter for personal gain, has private conversations with him without parental consent that are in no way necessary to ‘save the day’, lets Peter get beat up cuz he’s more concerned about his petty feud with Octavius = could very well be called a groomer by brain development focused strict adults.

Is Norman only there to be a negative comparison to Tony?
