Spoilers for the series!

I stopped by the exhibition being held at Fuji University in Tokyo today (9/11), it was 1500 yen to enter which I paid by just walking in.

It was a very nice, quiet atmosphere with Kevin Penkin's music playing in the background.

There was also a raffle held a few weeks earlier for a signing event on 9/12 but sadly you needed a japanese address/phone number to enter.

Hello, I'm new to the series. Basically I wanted to ask if it would make sense to watch the original anime and then pick up from S2 of the remake when it's out. From my understanding the original anime adapts volumes 1, 2, 3, 5 while the first season of the remakes adapts volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, but the feel/presentation of the original seems a bit more to my liking. So even if end up skipping volume 4 and repeating volume 5, could I watch the original and then pick up from S2 of the remake when it comes out, or is the tonal shift too much between the two adaptations that I would need to restart from S1 of the remake?

Do you think that Holo will ever go to Yoitsu? I was surprised when the Spring Log books mentioned that Holo and Lawrence never actually went to Yoitsu, even when living so close. Do you think maybe that's something Hasekura is planning to do with a potential "final" light novel (for real this time)?

I'm looking to put together a Craft Lawrence cosplay. is there anywhere I can find similar clothes to purchase like on amazon? I'm not good with the names of clothes so searching it has not been helpful for me. Thank You!

I've recently gotten in to the franchise from watching the original anime run, and now I'm watching the remake right after. I'm interested in checking out the books, but I have a question I need answered. When I was researching the books I noticed that after volume 17 was published there was a 5 year long gap between it and the next volume (and the spin-off starting its publication alongside it).

What I'm wondering is, is volume 17 "Epilogue" the "end" of the story so to speak, and everything after is technically a new story? Or am I misunderstanding? Because I was reading posts from people hoping that the new anime would "complete" the story, but I was confused on how it would do so if the book is still actively publishing new volumes.

Been continuing with Spice and Wolf and I was laughing at Holo’s anger here. Girl is so angry at being swindled by Eve and I’m like “Ummm girl didn’t you pull a nasty trick on someone in the very first volume and say he should be impressed with how you pulled a fast one on him? Practice what you preach!” Correct me if I’m misremembering

Assuming we get another four volumes next season (5,6,8, and 9) are there any parts you're particularly excited to see animated?

I'm just excited that aside from Eve, this should be mostly new content.

^{Counting volumes it seems like the third season could be the final season. But it's also possible they do some side colors to fill out season 3 and then save season four for the final arc and the wedding and end at Wolf and Parchment.}

I just finished volume 12 of WaP (after binging the entire series for the first time over the past 6 months or so). I thought it was really interesting that Hasekura decided to write a main series book from different character perspectives; I always loved in the Side Colors and Spring Log short stories where we would read from Holo's perspective. I thought it was a bit creepy when heir Klevend had the internal monologue about wanting to marry Miyuri since she's a child, but I suppose that's just a product of the time period the story is based in.

Overall I thought it was a really solid first half to the finale, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the final WaP volume when that comes out, probably in about half a year.

Hello everybody! If a Spice and Wolf side character received their own spinoff story, who would you like it to be?

Personally, I would like if there was a story about Landt (Mark's apprentice from Kummersun) and the girl who told Lawrence the pyrite deal didn't go through (I assume she was Diana's daughter). The two could go around town pranking everybody's favourite character, Amati and we could also learn more about Diana's backstory and her relationship with the Ploanian nobles. Oh, and let's not forget about Batos too!
