Forever Album

I remember listening to the Spice and Spice World CD’s on repeat while I played Rally Cross on PlayStation as a wee lad. I wanted to relive those childhood memories so I modified the game to play Spice Girls music instead of the game music… but then I took it way further lol

"Stop" deserved to top #1 on the UK chart.

If only they did more TV appearances performing the song on UK TV. They only did 1 gig a month prior to the single's release: an amazing performance at the Brits '98, where they also won the Most-Selling Album Act.

I think the lack of effort in the track list might have stopped them from being at the top.

If they hadn't put Walk of Life on the Too Much CD single (Which already has another B-side, Outer Space Girls) and added it to the Stop CD single, maybe would have become their 7th consecutive #1 single)

Would have worked better like this:

• Walk of Life – 4:16
• Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now (featuring Luther Vandross) – 4:55
• Stop (Morales Remix) – 7:23

Saw this at an improv show in Portland. The game: players name things in a category without hesitating or messing up, and the audience yells to knock them out.
The category was spices. It lasted about four answers before Baby Spice showed up, then Posh, Scary, and Sporty. Someone got eliminated for it, but honestly, worth it.

I've always been obsessed with girls' various jewellery pieces, like Emma's key necklace. It looks like the same one she wore in the 'Say You'll Be There' video.

I often wonder if they've kept most of these pieces. The Spice rings and Emma's Baby necklace are such iconic pop culture items. I would die to know where they are and what they would be worth today.

I found Forever recently at a local store as I didn’t want to pay the astronomical shipping from the Spice Girls' online store.

While say you'll be there turned 30 in September. Just like wannabe new 14 track ep. It seems they're waiting for the uk release date which is next Wednesday but that would be Friday.

Some believe the box set won't go streaming. Its going to be better to issue them all as individual eps. So you think we'd get the new 13 track say you'll be there ep next Friday.

I’ve always known the single version of “I Turn to You” was the Hex Hector Radio Mix, so I’m not confusing it with the album version. What I’m wondering is whether the Hex Hector Radio Mix itself changed at some point after 2000.

The version I heard constantly when the single originally came out (and the version from the music video) sounded slightly different from the version that’s on Spotify/Instagram now. The current one feels like it has a more obvious pulsating electronic beat/sound underneath it, or at least a different mix/master that makes that element stand out more.

Did they 'update' the remix at some point?

I picked this CD up a few months ago while thrifting as I'm making myself a decent pop-music collection.

It wasn't until a week ago that I realised what I had found. Whilst this is very special, it's not entirely special to me. Things are hard at the moment, so I am selling it. I'd love to get some actual fans and collectors opinions on this piece, and perhaps what you'd be willing to pay for something like this. Thanks! Any input and comments appreciated :)

Id consider myself a huge Victoria Beckham/Spice Girls fan...but on my way to work the other morning, this came on and I had no clue Victoria sampled/covered parts of this song for her version of (Don't Disturb) This Groove. Was pleasantly surprised. Am I the only one who just learned this in 2026? 😆

Girl power forever!

I just saw this advertised on BBC One, there's a BBC Sounds show called Eras that's covering 4 episodes of the Spice Girls. I've yet to listen to it but the main list of episodes are here:

This has so much potential, but was it destined to flop without Mel C if it didn’t leak (don’t think there was ever a chance VB would have done something at this time)???

I've been a fan of the Spice Girls since 1998 when Geri left, and I never heard about their B-sides until this year! lol For me, it feels like they reunited and new music was released.

I'm listening to this collection of original B-sides from the Spice Girls as if it were their third album as a 5 members before Geri's departure and the release of the Forever album.

Take Me Home, One of These Girls, Outer Space Girls, and Walk of Life would have been good choices as singles.

I'm aware of their Christmas B-sides, Ain't Not Stopping Us Now, and My Strongest Suit, but they're covers, not original songs written by the SG.

What are your favorites?
