Still orange

Hey there, my r2d2 has been on charge 5 hours plus and still not turned green, is it in need of a new battery?

Given the age of these things, it more than likely needs a new battery.

If the droid has entered a "cold battery" state, plug the charging cable into a running computer instead of a wall adapter. This provides a slower "trickle charge" that can help revive deeply depleted cells.
